Making Sense of Your Experiences
Over nearly three decades of working with clients, I've come to appreciate how resilient people really are. I've learned that meaningful change often begins as we make sense of our experiences and understand how they've shaped our lives.
Many of the clients I work with are gaining a deeper understanding of how early life experiences, attachment patterns and trauma continue to affect them today. Many have spent years feeling unsafe, different or misunderstood. Others reach a point where old ways of coping no longer work, leaving them feeling stuck, disconnected or unsure of how to move forward.
Making Sense of Your Brain
A significant focus of my practice is working with adults with ADHD and other forms of neurodivergence, including those diagnosed later in life. For many, discovering they have ADHD in adulthood brings both relief and grief, as years of experiences begin to make sense through a different lens. Clients can then recognize how ADHD has shaped their lives in ways they never fully understood.
Together, we can discover how your brain works best, build on your strengths, quiet self-doubt and help you feel more comfortable and confident in who you are.
How I Approach Therapy
I believe therapy should be tailored to each individual and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach; no two people have the same story. My approach is warm, collaborative and practical. Together, we'll explore what has shaped who you are today, identify patterns that may no longer be serving you and find ways to move forward that feel right for you.
No matter what brings you here, my hope is that therapy helps you understand yourself with greater clarity, self-compassion and confidence.
