“I can’t bring myself to share the weight of my experiences with my family.” “I'm constantly masking who I am to make others feel comfortable.” “People see my behavior, but they don't understand what's behind it.” “I don't feel in control of my own life.” If you recognize yourself in any of these, or struggle with anxiety, depression, and trauma. I’d be honored to support you. I provide a space where your story is welcomed and valued without judgment. My work is informed by Family Systems Theory and Feminist Theory, with an emphasis on the ways relationships, identity, and broader systems influence who we are. Whether you’re facing transitions, identity questions, or challenges in connection, we can focus together on what feels most important. I recognize the heaviness of ongoing change, missed opportunities, and the pressure to keep parts of yourself hidden. You don’t have to hold that by yourself. This is a place to be seen, supported, and understood.
I offer a nonjudgmental space to explore your inner world and build relationship with all parts of yourself. I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, overwhelm, depression, life transitions, trauma, grief, shame, perfectionism, and people-pleasing. I also enjoy supporting adult children of emotionally immature parents, college students, and highly sensitive people. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel deeply seen, understood, and accepted—and where you can gradually find your way back to yourself. My approach integrates compassionate talk therapy, mindfulness, Internal Family Systems (parts work/inner child work) EMDR, psychoeducation, and practical coping and resourcing skills. I specialize in anxiety and trauma and tailor therapy to each client's unique needs. Together, we'll work to better understand your nervous system, process painful experiences, and cultivate a more secure, compassionate relationship with yourself. Clients often describe my style as warm, gentle, and deeply validating. It is a genuine privilege to accompany people in this work. If you have questions or would like to schedule a consultation, I'd love to hear from you.

Revolving thoughts of sadness, fear, trauma, or even grief can make it extremely difficult to have hope. Day to day activities start to feel meaningless. I would like to guide you out of the darkness and towards growth. You are not meant to live in the shadows. I am here to help you cultivate a mental environment capable of prosperity. My specialties include: Addiction & Substance Use, Anxiety & Depression, Autism Creative Arts Techniques, Grief Counseling, Identity Formation, Purpose and Meaning, Spirituality, Trauma/PTSD, Military Veterans and Family Members. As a counselor, I find it powerful to help my clients find emotional independence. I am here to guide your discovery, what your potential is and how you can get there. There is beauty in your vulnerability and openness to change, change that can redirect the projection of your life.
Have you ever thought to yourself— “I need someone to talk to, but struggle to open up”... “I just can’t seem to snap out of this sadness”... “I feel like I have no sense of direction”... “I feel overwhelmed”... Feeling lost, overwhelmed, or stuck can make life a constant struggle. Sometimes, our subconscious thoughts lead us to repeat the same actions even when we want to change, creating a cycle that feels difficult to break. If you're struggling with anxiety, depression, or a past trauma, you don't have to do it alone. It takes great courage to open up to someone and ask for help. If you’re ready to take that step, I’m here to support and empower you to learn, grow and process whatever is on your mind. I provide counseling to children and adults and utilize a solutions-focused, strengths-based approach. Please call or send a message if you think we might be a good fit.

I am a believer that we are all interconnected. Our relationships matter most to our wellbeing. And while we are living in a time where we are easily able to connect with one another, we have also never been so isolated and alone. The messages we receive from our greater systems often are at odds with what I know contribute to our wellbeing. Because of that we can often feel stuck, less than, or constantly hustling for “that thing.” We can end up chasing the wrong thing and find ourselves perpetually behind or inadequate. Our culture often places so much emphasis on outcomes, appearance, and external or material things. I sincerely believe that they are often at the root of our unhappiness. We often are doing the thing we think will help us but it ultimately harms us! We are doing it wrong. Together we will explore the often painful and uncomfortable spaces within and work from an Inside-Out approach. In doing so, we find that the storms tend to be more universal, we see our common humanity, we develop more self compassion and compassion and empathy for others. When we are our authentic selves, we become more free and our sessions will include plenty of laughing even as we dive into the parts that feel hard. We were never meant to do this life alone. And yet – so many of us are often sold on false narratives that “it’s just you” or have been invalidated, shamed, or traumatized by oppressive systems on the larger scale or within our own homes. My pride in the work is to help you become your best self, the one who is not merely living, but the one who is truly alive. Feeling it all, skin in the game, open to heartbreak, receptive to joy. Facing our pain is not easy (I know this well!). But I know deeply that when we do the right kind of hard, our efforts are fruitful beyond measure. Let’s face this together.
My clients describe me as someone who helps them ground and focus when they feel overwhelmed. Together, we will create a plan of what you want to see change in your life and target new strategies to help you live the life of joy, confidence, peace and connection that you want. In our work together, we will use evidence-based tools that fit for you. My results-oriented approach means you will leave each session with something actionable to help you reach your goals. I often help people deepen their connection with their loved ones and also set limits when needed. I offer individual and couples therapy in-person or by telehealth. Exploring therapy can be a powerful way to reclaim time and space for yourself in the troubled world we live in. Whether you have been struggling with changes to your mood, anxiety, difficult relationships, grief, or loss, I look forward to partnering with you on your unique path to wellness and recovery. Are your relationships suffering? Are you struggling to date, preserve your relationship, or find sexual satisfaction in your relationships? Are you facing questions about yourself and your path in life? Relationship and identity issues are often at the core of our suffering and can leave us feeling alone, rejected, and misunderstood. You deserve the chance to feel seen, to heal, and to grow through and toward connection. At ACTW, we love helping people find ways to live their authentic self and establish meaningful, loving, sexually satisfied relationships. This means exploring vulnerable topics with compassion and safety, healing old wounds from past relationships, and empowering you to thrive in being your genuine self. We help our clients understand how their past has impacted their present and can best support their future. We'll work collaboratively to understand your early life experiences, as well as current stressors, and how they may be contributing to some of the struggles you're experiencing. Our relational approach allows our clients to feel seen and heard, while getting the support and insight they need to heal, grow, and change. We'll help you rediscover your resiliency and self-worth.
