Vee works with dissociative disorders and complex trauma clients to help heal past wounds to help them get back to their lives and be able to move forward into whatever goals they want to achieve. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process between therapist and client, and that by working together we can help you move toward understanding and healing. Your job is to be curious about yourself. Mine is to inspire and assist you in exploring the unknown, uncomfortable, and unfamiliar. I strive to kindly challenge the way people think, and to be challenged myself. I am honored when asked to be present in challenging times, and work to balance holding room for discomfort while helping you discover how to move forward. My ultimate goal is to help you heal by building upon our respect, honesty, and mindfulness. I approach counseling from an experiential and existential perspective, and integrate attachment, feminist, and narrative therapies. My training includes EFT, Gestalt, MI, and DBT. I love counseling young adults, and have worked in school settings for 15 years. I also greatly enjoy working with couples. I'm active in LGBTQIA+ and polyamorous communities. I find joy in helping clients explore and heal, no matter what journey you find yourself on! I look forward to connecting with you. I specialize in working with teens, young adults, older adults, couples, relationship issues, life transitions, multicultural concerns, members of LGBTQIA+ communities, and polyamorous individuals, couples, and families.

Therapy shouldn’t feel like a clinical interrogation. After seven years working with young people inside Colorado schools, I know that just opening up to someone new takes incredible guts. Because effective therapy relies on a strong therapeutic alliance, I prioritize tailored human connection over rigid assessment & clinical stuffiness, laying the groundwork for us to work as true partners in the process.
Welcome, and thank you for reaching out. Emotional wellness leads to happiness and peace in your life and in your relationships. I'm here to help. Together we'll explore what's happening in your life, and how to live from a place where you can feel your best. I help people get curious about their feelings of depression, anxiety, and relationship issues, and understand how to feel more relaxed, and at ease in their life. My therapy style is relational, where you can feel heard, and seen, and supported. I have over 25 years of experience helping young adults navigate college, work, and all of their important relationships. I'd like to help you.
With more than 25 years of experience in behavioral health as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), I help adults from diverse backgrounds, including LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent individuals, navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction and recovery, identity concerns, life transitions, relationship patterns, and questions of meaning or spirituality. My specialties also include depth psychotherapy, psychedelic integration, and identity and spiritual exploration for adults seeking healing, self-understanding, and meaningful personal transformation. I believe in meeting each person with compassion, interest, and respect for the complexity of their lived experience. As your therapist, my role is to be a collaborative and supportive partner who helps you explore not only what’s hurting, but also the strengths, meaning, and possibilities for growth within your experience. You don't need to have everything figured out before beginning therapy; we can discover the path together. If you're curious about yourself, I’m here to help you understand not only what you're struggling with, but the deeper emotional, relational, and unconscious patterns underlying those struggles, so you can move toward greater authenticity and a more grounded, meaningful relationship with yourself and your life. I look forward to helping you gain greater self-understanding, connection, and a life that feels more authentic, grounded, and fully your own. Depth-oriented, humanistic, somatic, and trauma-informed methods, along with spiritually integrated psychotherapy, shape how I help you explore the deeper patterns beneath what brought you to therapy. I bring genuine and deep attunement to your unique inner world and experience, as I'm passionate about helping you understand not just what's happening, but why. My style is curious, compassionate, and authentic, allowing me to tailor therapy to your needs, identity, and goals. You can expect a warm, nonjudgmental environment where all parts of your experience are welcome as we work together. Through this work, you can create meaningful, lasting change. My path to becoming a therapist grew from a longstanding interest in healing, contemplative practice, and understanding the deeper dimensions of the human experience. Over the years, working with people across diverse identities and life circumstances has deepened my commitment to providing care that honors the whole person. I bring empathy, authenticity, and a depth-oriented perspective to each session, creating space for you to explore your experiences, reconnect with yourself, and discover your own path toward healing and transformation. I love reading and writing, meditation and other contemplative practices, and studying mythology and spirituality. Gaming is another favorite of mine, especially D&D and MTG, and spending time with my family and my two dogs means a lot to me.
Hello! I've spent my entire career (30+ years) working with undergraduate and graduate university students, both in the United States and abroad. I've worked in several University Counseling Centers and also serve as an Adjunct Faculty Member in the Department of Applied Psychology at NYU. I've worked with student-athletes, international students, people of color, LGBTQIA individuals, study-abroad students, members of Greek Life, and graduate/doctoral students. I am a down-to-earth, insightful, non-judgmental, REAL, sometimes funny, and consistently compassionate therapist. I love working with college students! I've been told by many clients that I'm easy to talk to. I will listen, support you, provide honest feedback, and help you to navigate your challenges effectively so you can be your best self as you pursue your educational and life goals. My journey into the world of mental health services has come through my own struggles with adoption trauma, addiction, and long-term depression. Such conditions have made me an avid researcher of the human mind and heart, and a passionate experimenter of the means by which we transform both. This research and experimentation has (thankfully) fine-tuned my relationship skills and made me fluent in many languages of internal exploration. The most impactful of all of these have been the practices of meditation and somatic psychotherapy. I have spent nearly twenty years exploring them in depth and I would love to share them with you.
When your mind won’t slow down, your heart feels heavy, or your story feels complicated, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I support clients working through anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship patterns. My style is gentle, direct, and a little playful; think compassion with a dash of humor. Together we’ll untangle what’s hurting, strengthen what’s working, and help you feel more like you. Therapy works best when you can show up as yourself. I integrate different tools and interventions to match your needs, whether you want deeper insight, practical coping skills, or both. We’ll move at a pace that feels safe. Healing can be hard, but it’s still worth it. If you’re curious about working together, contact me by phone or email, or text (970) 829-8780. I see clients in Boulder, Broomfield, and Lakewood.
I am a psychotherapist, astrologer, and nurturing guide on the path to remembering our wholeness. I have been a licensed professional counselor, offering services in the Boulder Community for 14 years, including community mental health, primary care and private practice. As an intuitive soul, I facilitate clients of all ages through a transformative and empowering process that results in meaningful integration, alignment to calling, and a curiosity around personal and interpersonal depth. My aim is to serve clients who are awakening to their innermost authenticity and truth. My work is informed by evidenced-based practices, astrology, myth, transpersonal methodologies and Ecopsychology.
Many of the students I work with feel overwhelmed trying to figure out who they are and what they want, especially in a time that feels uncertain and constantly changing. You might be thinking about your future while also holding awareness of things like climate change, global crises, or instability in the world, which can make everything feel heavier or harder to make sense of. Some students I work with are dealing with habits like skin picking or hair pulling, while others feel burnt out, anxious, or like they’re trying to keep up but struggling internally. I take a relational and systemic approach, looking at both what’s happening internally and the larger context you’re living in, while also offering practical tools to support change. Many of my clients are thoughtful and aware, trying to make sense of themselves and the world around them. Therapy can be a space to slow things down and find ways to move forward that feel more grounded and realistic.

Who knew it would be so difficult to make it on your own, develop new relationships, and face the stresses of your late teens, 20s or 30s? Addressing struggles as you become an adult can present you with immediate and urgent challenges related to family, relationships, money, work, school, and confusion with your overall life path. This period of time is filled with moving from one place to another, sometimes one of familiarity to another one that feels totally foreign. Shifting responsibilities and demands at school or work can certainly cause confusion, self-doubt, and feeling overwhelmed. With these often turbulent years as a backdrop, you might begin to experience new distress that you’ve never felt before or knew existed. The onset of several mental health conditions typically show-up or are now seen as a problem during this time. Many have found that by working with me, they're able to tackle these unfamiliar and unhealthy events head on. This important life stage sets the foundation for the rest of your life; don't feel like you have to go it alone. I founded Grandview Therapy and Consulting, LLC. to provide individual therapy to those grappling with the challenges of adulthood. If you believe I may be a good fit to start you on a path of wellness, I encourage you to visit my website.
I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ teens and adults navigating gender, sexuality, relationships, identity, and the emotional weight that can come with living authentically. My approach is warm, relational, and trauma-informed. I pay close attention to what's unfolding between us in the moment, while also helping you build practical tools for regulation, self-trust, and resilience. Our work might include somatic (body-based) practices, mindfulness, inner child and parts work, or deeper exploration of attachment, identity, and the systems we move through. I honor the realities of our sociopolitical climate and the ways it shapes queer and trans lives, and I aim to hold space that’s affirming, collaborative, and deeply respectful of your truth. Whether you're coming out, healing from trauma, or just trying to make sense of who you are and what you need, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. You don’t have to do it alone. Reach out to schedule a free 15-minute consultation.
Do you feel numb or disconnected lately? Struggling to manage emotions, stay focused, or keep up with everything on your plate? Maybe perfectionism is running the show—even when you’re exhausted. Maybe you’re using drinking, weed, or other habits to cope. Maybe guilt, shame, or feeling “not enough” hits you more than you let on. Relationships might feel confusing or repetitive, or you might find yourself always on alert, restless, isolating, or overworking because slowing down feels uncomfortable. College can also bring up painful experiences you didn’t expect—old wounds, traumatic events, or something that happened (like sexual assault or abuse) that changed how you feel about yourself, others, or the world. Adjusting socially, emotionally, and academically can be harder than anyone talks about. If any of this sounds familiar, you’re not alone. And you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. I work experientially, integrating somatic approaches, EMDR, psychodrama, and other in-action modalities to help you reconnect with yourself, shift stuck patterns, and feel more grounded and in control of your life again.
