Starting college is a major life transition that can be exciting, but also challenging and overwhelming. Adjusting to new routines, increased academic demands, and changing social circles is difficult for many students. Nearly 76% of college students report experiencing moderate to severe stress or distress, with anxiety, loneliness, and depression being especially common during this stage of life. If you’re feeling stuck, anxious, or isolated, therapy offers a supportive space to process tough emotions and big changes. Together, we can develop coping strategies that build resilience and self-compassion, helping you navigate these challenges and rediscover your inner strengths. Change is hard, but you don’t have to figure it out alone!

Hi, I’m Olivia - and I’m here to help you feel more like you again. You might be holding it all together on the outside, but inside, it’s a different story: - Constantly overwhelmed by school, work, or life choices - Feeling like something’s missing, even when you “should” feel fine - Stuck in patterns that leave you unfulfilled or disconnected - Tired of trying to be who everyone else expects you to be If this sounds familiar, you’re not broken - you’re just exhausted from carrying too much for too long! I work with young adults and adults navigating anxiety, depression, substance use, grief, relationship struggles, trauma, and life transitions. Whether you’re questioning your path, overwhelmed by expectations, or feeling lost in your identity, you don’t have to figure it out alone. In our work together, you’ll have a space to slow down, speak freely, and untangle the emotional weight you’ve been carrying. We’ll explore what’s working, what’s not, and what it might feel like to finally be seen and supported for who you really are. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and rooted in real-life tools you can use outside of therapy. We’ll build emotional resilience, self-trust, and strategies that help you feel grounded in your own life again - and we’ll do it at a pace that feels right for you. A bit about me: I live in Victoria, Texas, and when I’m not in session, you’ll likely find me outside - walking my dog, horseback riding, or finding new trails to explore. I’m also a big fan of discovering hidden gem food spots wherever I go.

We live in a world full of things that can make life feel like a challenge. Stress, anxiety, adverse experiences, and complicated relationships can make it difficult to feel motivated on the day-to-day. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and that the role of the therapist is to help clients feel safe and supported so that together we can address whatever a client may bring into session. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches, including EMDR and hypnotherapy, to address trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, relational concerns, exploration of gender and sexuality, and more. I am licensed to practice in both Nevada and Colorado to see individuals, couples, and families ages 6 and up. We often feel trapped by our circumstances, voiceless in our relationships and powerless to cause significant change in our lives. But whether you are seeking individual, couples, or group therapy, you have taken a leap into the process of healing. With curiosity and a fresh perspective, I aim to empower you to reclaim your voice, work towards the change you seek, and to meet your authentic self. Though you have already taken the first step, I hope to foster the healing process even further by providing a deeply caring, non-judgmental atmosphere. I have experience with diverse age groups, races, gender identities, and sexual orientations, and have worked in community mental health, residential treatment, school settings, and private practice. If you are are seeking a space to explore feelings connected to lack of motivation, avoidance, anxiety, low self-esteem, difficulty in platonic and romantic relationships, and feeling burnout from your current way of moving through the world, know that there is hope of having a different experience of yourself, your relationships and the world around you. Within working with a wide breath of clients, I have a passion for men’s mental health and working with young men and the issues that come up in their lives today. Through it all, however, my approach has always been focused on the human in front of me, and in meeting them where they are. I work with my individuals, couples and groups to help you gain a better understanding of yourself and your relationships. With a psychodynamic lens and a belief that as a species we all have the need to connect, I look forward to hearing from you to see how we may feel about working together.

Do you find yourself over-working in your job or school and under-connecting in relationships? Escaping via addiction while struggling with emotional pain, fear, loneliness, or shame? Maybe you just know something is wrong but aren’t even sure what to call it. If this sounds familiar, I can help. There are a lot of conflicting expectations out there for who men “should be.” Some say you should be tough and ambitious, while others say you should be empathetic and sensitive. I have experienced this myself and understand how difficult it can be to sort through it and make sense of it all. I became a therapist to help men become healthier individuals with healthier relationships–to help men move past trauma, addiction, and shame. I know how confusing and painful this can be, and I can tell you from personal experience that there is hope and a better way. My counseling style is to work with you collaboratively to help you identify false beliefs, process the pain and shame that formed these beliefs, and move forward with healthier mindsets, behaviors, and relationships. I utilize a down-to-earth, practical approach to help you identify what you are already doing that might be working well, what might not be so helpful, and to learn skills for better emotional management, communication, boundary setting and more. At the same time, we will also roll up our sleeves and work to heal the deeper emotional wounds from your past. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a Licensed Addictions Counselor, and am trained in EMDR. This specific combination of professional training and licensure in mental health, addictions, and trauma has prepared me to help men who often struggle with various combinations of these issues. When looking for a therapist, it is important to choose someone with the expertise to speak into these areas and the complex interactions between them. I also have a background in Christian missions and Bible teaching and incorporate this to whatever extent you desire. Together we can get you there. I have a rare combination of characteristics and training that make me uniquely well-suited to help men along their journey towards growth, healing, and freedom. And that is exactly what I’d like to do for you. If any of this resonates with you, send me an email, or call me to set up an appointment and get started. Let’s get down to work.
I utilize evidenced based interventions from both acceptance and commitment therapy and trauma-informed care principles in my practice. I graduated in 2017 from the University of Denver with my Masters in Social Work and have been providing both inpatient and outpatient treatment since that time. My education and both, personal and professional experiences have allowed me to develop skills to work with diverse, often marginalized populations, such as members of the LGBTQIA+ population or those where English is not their first language. My specialities for work center around severe mental illnesses, such as: schizophrenia and other thought disorders, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders. Typically clients I work with have the above noted challenges, but have also experienced other stressors in their relationships, employment, and/or with addiction(s) of some kind.
