If insight alone hasn’t changed your patterns, something deeper is begging to be understood. High functioing anxiety? Disconnected, or stuck in repeating relationship and life patterns? Overwhelmed or just plain blah? It's life changing to incorporate body, mind and heart to fully develop a strong internal sense of self. I integrate psychotherapy with the Enneagram and yoga therapy to uncover the unconscious patterns driving stress, attachment, and emotional reactivity. Knowing your Enneagram type and subtype often accelerates therapy by revealing why you cope the way you do—so change becomes embodied, precise, and lasting. With 25+ years of experience, I offer a holistic, trauma-informed approach integrating cognitive behavioral and somatic therapy. My style is straightforward and supportive. As a 2x published author, Enneagram-certified therapist, and yoga therapist, I work with individuals and couples to customize mind-body treatment that supports real, lasting change. Witnessing the transformation as you move from wounded, unbalanced and fearful, to being empowered, focused and self-reliant, is one of my greatest rewards. The power of growth never fails to amaze me, and I am grateful to be part of your journey! I welcome you to begin this process! Now, all you have to do is click the button to start. I've got you! :)
Keshet Counseling
I founded Keshet Counseling to support individuals who often feel overlooked or misunderstood in traditional therapy spaces. My work is especially meaningful to those navigating the complexities of chronic illness, such as Lyme Disease, Mold Toxicity, MCAS, and other invisible disabilities, as well as those facing antisemitism or discrimination for not aligning with political or institutional expectations. I also work closely with teens and adults dealing with antisemitism, narcissistic abuse, multicultural identity issues, codependency, love addiction, grief, anxiety, relationship issues, and trauma. My approach is rooted in body centered somatic psychology using mindfulness. We’ll explore unconscious beliefs and patterns shaping your experience by noticing whats happening for you in this moment. I hold a humanistic view of healing: I believe you are already whole, worthy, and deeply capable of transformation. My role is to help reconnect you to your own inner knowing, and I view our relationship as a collaborative space where your voice and wisdom lead the way. I don’t believe there’s something wrong with you, rather, what happened to you.

Welcome! I specialize in working with identity exploration, perfectionism, social anxiety, and Latina college students/early career professionals. I also enjoy working with concerns related to alcohol use, intergenerational trauma, adjustment issues, and acculturation. Many of my clients have included individuals belonging to the following communities: College/graduate students, Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), Spanish/Spanglish-speakers, immigrants, children of immigrants, international students, first-generation students, LGBTQIA+ folx, and members of fandom communities (e.g. anime, K-pop, book series, etc.). If you are wanting to get support in navigating life in a way that feels authentic to you, then we are on the same page. I strive to co-create a therapeutic experience based on trust, genuineness, and empowerment. Together we will build your confidence and skills to get “unstuck” and move towards action, healing, and a life more in line with your values. Taking the step to find a therapist can be a vulnerable and daunting process. Because of that, I am here to answer any questions you may have. If you feel we may be a good fit, please reach out for a free consultation. With humor, no judgment, and some possible cursing thrown into the mix, we will explore getting to what is meaningful to you.

Do you find yourself struggling with anxiety, relationship challenges, addiction, or the impacts of trauma? I am a licensed therapist and addiction counselor dedicated to providing support to women and LGBTQ+ individuals, offering a safe, inclusive, and affirming space where clients can explore their experiences, identities, and mental health. With an understanding of the unique challenges faced by these groups, I am committed to empowering clients to live authentically and work through any obstacles they may encounter. Therapy when you need it, not just when you're in session. Secure, therapist-guided messaging that fits your life. I specialize in the messy overlap between relationships and recovery—because in my experience, you can't fully heal one without addressing the other. Whether you're navigating postpartum anxiety, a relationship that's been strained by substance use, or preparing for marriage and wanting to get it right from the start, I bring dual licensure in both professional counseling and addiction counseling to every case. My approach is trauma-informed, practical, and deeply respectful of where you are right now. I draw on trauma-informed CBT, attachment theory, and Gottman-influenced couples work, but mostly I follow your lead. I'm not trying to fit you into a protocol. I'm trying to understand your specific relationship dynamics, your history with substances if that's relevant, and what 'better' actually looks like for you. In our first session, we'll map out your concerns and create a clear plan together. Whether you're seeking individual or couples therapy, you'll leave feeling understood and confident in our direction. I also offer secure asynchronous messaging for support and guidance between sessions.

Hi! I’m so glad you’re here. For the “weirdos,” “misfits,” seekers and dreamers. Those who feel invisible, not enough, alone or like you are not able to be fully you and still be loved. The people who find solace in books and music, and intimate conversations. Who deeply feel there is something more or a better world possible. For people who feel both at home and alone in solitude. You’re not wrong for holding contradictions and it makes sense if the world feels at times both too heavy to bear and so full of magic and wonder. Have you been told that the way you experience the world is "too much" or you are "too sensitive?" Maybe you feel like you have a breadth of awareness and understanding but don't experience the solace you are longing for. Or that you have had to hide parts of yourself to belong, only to feel more disconnected. Imagine a life where you feel connected, alive and able to embrace the fullness and vastness of who you are. Where your energy can move towards things outside of the performance of being acceptable. I view therapy as quiet work; where the small and sometimes big shifts, hold the power to change what is possible for all of us. I will be with you as you gain clarity around your own wisdom and knowing; deconstruct the unhelpful stories you hold about yourself; and I will always sit with you through discomfort, dis-ease, celebration and joy. I work from modalities and techniques that are rooted in story telling and visualization (Narrative, IFS); and body based awareness and nervous system regulation (Somatic).

Looking for a therapist can feel overwhelming and uncertain, especially when trauma, identity, or religious experiences have made it hard to feel safe in your own life. I support adults navigating trauma, anxiety, identity, and suicidal ideation, with a focus on LGBTQIA+ and neurodiverse clients. I provide collaborative, trauma-informed care that builds coping skills, increases insight, and supports lasting change. I support clients in building strong coping skills, stability, and a sense of safety before moving into deeper trauma work. Using CAMS, DBT, IFS, trauma-informed and trauma-focused approaches, I offer collaborative, affirming care for LGBTQIA+ clients navigating trauma, identity, and suicidal thoughts. Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you’ve been carrying a lot on your own. You don’t have to do it alone. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to start, I welcome you to reach out when you’re ready.

I work with college students and young adults who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected from themselves, or unsure of what comes next. College can bring academic pressure, relationship challenges, identity exploration, independence, and uncertainty about the future. You may be navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationships, school or work stress, or a major life transition. I especially enjoy supporting neurodivergent, gifted, and twice-exceptional students who may feel misunderstood or pressured to fit into expectations that don't work for them. My approach is warm, collaborative, and neurodiversity-affirming, with therapy tailored to your unique needs and strengths. Drawing from CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and mindfulness, I help clients better understand their thoughts and emotions, build coping skills, strengthen relationships, and pursue meaningful goals. You don't have to have everything figured out. Therapy can be a space to slow down, understand yourself, and take your next step with greater confidence.

As a multicultural woman, I not only have personal experience with historical trauma, intergenerational trauma, and women's issues, but I also specialize in grief and loss, sexual assault/violence, suicidality, relationship issues, transitional difficulties, depression, anxiety, identity formation, and more. With experience serving ages 12-adult, I aim to create a safe space to explore an array of different obstacles within the human experience to leave my clients feeling empowered and heard. With a deep personal and professional understanding of social work, social justice, social change, and historical trauma, I align myself in support of the acknowledgement and healing of all Indigenous Peoples, the Black Lives Matter Movement and Black / African American folks as well as many multicultural minoritized individuals and communities experiencing racialized trauma and injustice, as well as the LGBTQIA+ communities continuing to fight every day for equity across systems. I have a well-rounded perspective on spirituality, and challenge myself to do continued allyship work within myself and my practice to show up for the intersections of my clients with a mindfulness around impact, action, and honoring the innate dignity of the whole person.

In my years of providing therapy, I have witnessed a clear trend. Emotional wounds heal best when surrounded by hope, support, and a sense of self. In other words, I believe that people can best heal from the past when they find what they’re running towards. Pain can leave us feeling defined by our wounds, insecurities, fears, regrets, and unwanted patterns. We can feel trapped by trauma, depression, anxiety, and desperate attempts to keep it together. But no matter how much space the darkness fills, it cannot erase the underlying “self” within us. We can shrink the darkness by understanding it, exploring how it informs our patterns, and taking necessary steps to address it. Simultaneously, we can expand ourselves by exploring what makes us care, what helps us connect, what makes us laugh, and what stokes the fire to fight for something better. It is my privilege when I’m trusted enough to help hold the pain, and an honor to watch someone embrace who they want to be.
