From a young age, I’ve been drawn to people who don’t look, sound, or live like me. I believe the human story is one of the most powerful and inspiring elements of life; and I believe sharing our stories with others is medicine to both listener and teller. Curiosity is a big part of why I became a therapist. Glad Acres is named after the street my grandmother lived on. Her home was a safe and hospitable abode for many people to share their stories, and I seek to emulate the same in the therapy room. Outside of work, you can find me on my yoga mat, outside on a walk, deep in a craft project, or nursing a good cup of coffee. Music and shows have always been where I go to feel, process, and connect with myself and others. I've also had the opportunity to travel to Greece to work with women who survived trafficking, an experience that shaped how I understand resilience and what it means to help someone reclaim their story. I've been in therapy myself for 13 years, and I know how exhausting it can be to talk in circles; understanding why you feel something and still feeling stuck in your body. That's why I bring somatic, nervous-system-focused work like EMDR into my practice: healing isn't just intellectual, it's felt. I love working with people ready to do that inner work: a little nervous maybe, open to being gently challenged, showing up not perfectly, but consistently and with curiosity. Therapy is challenging, and I've seen its rewards in my own life, and in the lives of the people I've had the privilege to sit with. I'd be honored to walk alongside you throughout some of your journey. If any of this lands for you, I’d love to connect!

I aim to guide clients in discovering their patterns and getting off autopilot to begin living a life they choose! I am strongly connected with non-traditional lifestyles and work to cultivate a safe place for all people, most frequently working with clients in queer, non-monogamous, & kink relationships. Most of my clients are wanting to work on issues mostly unrelated to but within the context of these communities and lifestyles, and are tired of having to spend so much time explaining the context to therapists unfamiliar with their world. I also work with folks looking to explore these aspects of themselves for the first time. Growing up, my father's Navy career caused our family to move every 0.5-2.5 years. Since transition was my constant, I developed unique insight into the complex intersection and paradox of excitement, anxiety, fear, resistance, confidence, insecurity, love, and hate that can all be felt simultaneously during times of major change. This is why I love working with college students and helping them to navigate experiences such as: being away from home and re-configuring family relationships; exploring new friendships and romantic relationships; discovering their life path(s); learning a larger variety of ways to cope, communicate, and relate to themselves and the world; and diving more deeply into issues related to identity (e.g. sexuality, gender, higher consciousness, vocation, etc.). I tailor my approach with each of my clients, but primarily utilize mindfulness, experiential activities, and somatic techniques (i.e. deepening the relationship and communication between your mind and body).

What if getting better didn't mean spending years talking about everything that's ever gone wrong? I work with college and grad students to build real, lasting change by providing insight and skills that actually help. With over a decade of clinical work in the US and abroad, I've helped young adults manage anxiety, quiet the perfectionism and imposter syndrome that follow them into every exam and internship, while creating a healthy type of confidence that remains under pressure. My clients describe working with me as supportive, direct, collaborative, and nothing like what they expected therapy to be. We figure out what's driving the pattern. Then we work on changing it. I specialize in: anxiety, burnout and stress, low self-esteem, perfectionism, and people-pleasing. My approach pulls from CBT, ACT, Positive Psychology, and Mindfulness, grounded in a trauma-informed model. You don't have to have it figured out to start. Currently offering Online Therapy throughout Massachusetts, New York, Colorado, Vermont, and Florida. Whether you are in Boston, NYC, or Denver, I am ready when you are.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with nearly 15 years of experience and I’m passionate about partnering with individuals on their journey toward improved health and well-being. As a health psychologist, I’ve had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life as they navigate the challenges that often accompany mental and physical health concerns. Currently, I specialize in supporting adolescents and adults dealing with stress, insomnia, anxiety, depression, and other health-related issues. A bit about my approach to therapy: I believe therapy is a deeply personal experience, and it’s essential to understand and support the whole person. It’s important to me that every individual feels respected, heard, and that the goals we work toward in therapy are collaborative and meaningful. My hope is that each person feels supported as they make progress toward their goals and gain tools they can carry with them outside of therapy.

I believe that people inherently want to move towards healing, but life is complex and things get mixed up along the way. I work to help clients move towards their most authentic & genuine selves. Within the counseling relationship, I strive to help clients feel supported & empowered so they can explore themselves, their current circumstances, past experiences, & future aspirations. I believe that people are the experts of their own lives but sometimes need a roadmap to help get back to where they want to be. One of the most powerful gifts that you can offer the world is to heal yourself & I would love to be a part of your journey. I work with clients to help them live more balanced and meaningful lives. I integrate nature therapy (including walk & talk therapy) into my work with clients & am an EMDR trained therapist. My counseling experience includes working with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship stressors, life adjustments, self-esteem, addiction & sport performance. I am a licensed clinical psychologist who works primarily with adolescents and adults, with a particular interest in supporting college students and young adults. I enjoy working with people navigating anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship concerns, identity development, major life transitions, and the pressures that can come with academics, athletics, work, and figuring out what comes next. My approach to therapy is collaborative, active, and individualized. I draw from evidence-based treatments, including cognitive-behavioral, acceptance-based, and trauma-informed approaches, while recognizing that therapy should not feel like a one-size-fits-all process. I work to understand both what someone is struggling with and the broader context of their life, relationships, values, strengths, and goals. I aim to create a space where clients can be candid about what is going well, what is not, and what they would like to change. Depending on a client's needs, our work may involve developing practical strategies for managing symptoms, understanding patterns in thoughts, emotions, and relationships, processing difficult experiences, or identifying ways to live more consistently with their values. My goal is for therapy to provide both a supportive relationship and meaningful, practical movement toward the changes that matter to each client.

How are you handling your life right now? Life can feel overwhelming creating stress, anxiety, fear, and doubt, and leaving us feeling paralyzed and stuck. Transitioning to college, and life after college can really take a minute. As we adjust to new seasons of life, there tends to be a period of the unknown with mixed emotions. Life transitions need life skills. I work with you like we are in a partnership to navigate through the past wounds into a healthier, more stable, and confident future.

Are You Still Struggling to Feel Better When You Feel Overwhelmed? Have you already seen medical professionals or therapists to help recover from an accident, injury, medical procedure, assault or childhood abuse, and you still don’t feel significantly better? Does it seem as though you are: Anxious after recurring trauma nightmares? Suffering from PTSD due to military actions or war? Terrified that you will have yet another accident? Overwhelmed with anxiety and don’t understand why? Tired of swinging between angry outbursts and going numb? Depressed because you feel like damaged goods after a trauma? Exhausted from dealing with digestive problems, migraines, and chronic pain which medicines don’t seem to help? Body-centered approach Using a short-term natural therapy approach, I help you to understand and trust that your body knows exactly how to recover from a serious threat. By attending to body sensations as well as thoughts and feelings, trauma symptoms can significantly ease or go away. As a result, you can: Go into strange environments feeling more relaxed: you won’t worry about looking foolish by over reacting to a sound or someone’s comment. Know you can return to a more normal work or school life and even have energy to take on new projects. Have fewer angry outbursts, which scare family members away. Stop reliving the memory of the trauma over and over. Feel confident that you know if it’s ok for someone to touch you. You are not the only one How you are feeling is a very common way people respond to the stress of trauma. Many of my clients feel shame or judge themselves for not being able “to cope”. It is not unusual to hear them blame themselves for getting so upset over a “minor” accident. They feel stupid or “too sensitive” about having allowed something that happened long ago to still affect them. Many believe their life has spun out of control and they find it difficult to get on with their lives. I do accept Victim's Compensation payments

College can be exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming in ways you didn’t expect. You might feel like everyone else has it figured out while you’re quietly struggling with stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, or feeling disconnected from yourself or others. Maybe you’re navigating a breakup, loss, or a shift in who you thought you’d be. I work with people who are trying to make sense of who they are while balancing school, relationships, and future pressure. My clients are thoughtful and self-aware, often the strong one for others, but underneath feel burned out or unsure of where they fit. In our work together, we’ll slow things down and make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface. Therapy is collaborative and active. I’ll help you understand patterns, build tools to manage stress, and feel more grounded, confident, and connected.

I founded Keshet Counseling to support individuals who often feel overlooked or misunderstood in traditional therapy spaces. My work is especially meaningful to those navigating the complexities of chronic illness, such as Lyme Disease, Mold Toxicity, MCAS, and other invisible disabilities, as well as those facing antisemitism or discrimination for not aligning with political or institutional expectations. I also work closely with teens and adults dealing with antisemitism, narcissistic abuse, multicultural identity issues, codependency, love addiction, grief, anxiety, relationship issues, and trauma. My approach is rooted in body centered somatic psychology using mindfulness. We’ll explore unconscious beliefs and patterns shaping your experience by noticing whats happening for you in this moment. I hold a humanistic view of healing: I believe you are already whole, worthy, and deeply capable of transformation. My role is to help reconnect you to your own inner knowing, and I view our relationship as a collaborative space where your voice and wisdom lead the way. I don’t believe there’s something wrong with you, rather, what happened to you.

Sometimes our minds get the best of us, creating unhelpful stories that leave us feeling overwhelmed and seemingly without hope. Reaching out for help in these times can be a difficult but strong first step because problems gain power in isolation and can keep us from thriving. I believe that our lives are made up of stories told and known through our relationships and community. Some of these narratives have provided us with a nourishing source of connection, health, and meaning, while others have disempowered us and left us feeling stuck. Identifying and exploring how you feel about these experiences and relationships can provide us roadmaps to your unique hopes for the future in stronger alignment with your core values and strengths. I am an affirming and inclusive licensed clinical mental health counselor who specializes in treating problems from a relational and holistic lens. In my work with clients, I integrate complementary methodologies including narrative therapy, experiential work, and somatic parts exploration to recover the contexts where thriving and connection have been possible despite the problems influencing your life. I have served diverse populations in private and group practice settings, residential facilities, hospitals, and outpatient clinics. I am passionate about accompanying individuals experiencing personal life challenges and transitions, including depression, anxiety, grief, and loss. Many of my clients are navigating challenging interpersonal relationships and complex family dynamics as well as having suffered personal trauma and oppression, both within their family-of-origin and systemically as marginalized identities. Whether you’ve had experience with therapy previously or if this is your first time trying something new, I would be so happy to guide you through the process and help you regain agency in your life. If any of this resonates with you, our conversations will provide you with a safe space to begin exploring and empowering the lost parts of your experience, emotions, and identity from a new vantage where wholeness and connection are once again possible. Working together from a place of curiosity and heart, I would like to help you to re-author the life story you are writing. I look forward to speaking with you about the work that is possible together!

My goal is to walk alongside my clients as they navigate the unique experience they're currently facing. I strive to create a safe place for individuals to come and share their experience with Grief, Loss, Caregiving, Anxiety, Depression and Life Transitions. I integrate CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and Person-Centered Therapy throughout the counseling process but may use various theories of therapy to best serve you and your situation. My experience includes working as a Grief Counselor and Support Group Coordinator at a hospice organization, where I was able to support many individuals coping with the significant journey of grief. I understand that grief can be life altering and believe no one should have to go through it alone. I prioritize honesty, compassion, non-judgement, and trust.
