My therapy approach is warm and collaborative so you feel supported and self-empowered in our work together. As partners we will utilize solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, and emotionally focused therapy techniques to help you work through the difficulties you're experiencing. Hi there! I work best with people who are carrying a lot at once, whether that’s anxiety, relationships that keep hurting them, substance use that feels out of control, or old experiences they’re finally ready to look at. They usually appear fine on the outside but feel worn down on the inside. What they share is knowing something needs to change and being ready to do the hard work to shift old patterns. If that sounds like you, I’d love for you to reach out!

Hi! I'm Rachel (She/her). I work with people navigating trauma, anxiety, perfectionism, neurodivergence (ADHD/Autism), and LGBTQ identity exploration—along with any big, messy questions about meaning, identity, and purpose. I celebrate all unique identities, values, and lived experiences that you bring into the therapy space. I am committed to upholding values of social justice and fostering advocacy in systems of oppression. Whatever your goal is, I hope to work with you to make a space that helps you feel valued and seen as a whole person. I see therapy as collaborative. We’ll work together to understand your patterns and build your self-trust. I feel honored to serve as a partner with you as we peel away the protective layers no longer serving you. I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which helps increase psychological flexibility—supporting you in building a meaningful life even through hardship and pain. Many people come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns of overthinking, trying to “fix” their way out of emotions. My approach helps clients shift from analyzing to understanding. We create space for both self-compassion and meaningful change. I also draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Process Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, and Relational-Cultural Therapy, depending on what best supports your needs, identities and therapy goals. I value authenticity in the therapy space and strive to create an environment where you feel safe to show up as your full self. My therapy style is relaxed, genuine, and laid-back, balancing humor and lightheartedness with sensitivity and empathy.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia who is passionate about being a psychotherapist and actually feels called to it. I believe that we all deserve to live a meaningful and fulfilled life, where we feel ACCEPTED, HEARD, SEEN, CARED FOR, and VALUED. I have a genuine interest and curiosity about people… about how we became the people that we are, who and what influenced are decisions, what we believe, and how they contribute to the ways we think, feel and behave. I am very zealous about helping people know and appreciate who they really are, and not just what people and experiences have conditioned them to believe they should be. My main areas of focus are on Anxiety, Attachment Issues, Self-Worth and Trauma where I infuse a mixture of CBT, EMDR, Inner Child, Parts Works and Reality therapy in our sessions to achieve your goals in therapy. However, the greatest help I provide is giving you different perspectives and insight that may have not been considered before, which in turn may change the way you feel and think about the situation. It is my hope that after understanding how your past has shaped how you view your current circumstances, and presses on your future, that you can heal from it and move forward. My Christian faith is also a big part of who I am and how I view the world. For those interested in incorporating Christian counseling in their sessions this can be an amazing way to grow your faith, and help to reestablish your belief in God and how He sees you. I understand that not everyone feels or believes the way I do, and that is perfectly fine. Being a Christian is not a requirement to meet with me, nor does it have to influence our sessions unless desired. I am a staunch believer in not treating people differently for any reason, and respecting one’s choice to believe whatever they want to believe.

I work with individuals struggling with life transitions, relationship problems, anxiety and other painful emotions. I have over 10 years of experience treating adolescents and adults and everyone in between. Working with students and aspiring young professionals is a population I'm passionate about working with. I strive to empower clients through developing greater self-awareness, acceptance and motivation to accomplish their goals. Therapy is a powerful tool that anyone can benefit from when the courage and motivation is present and I believe should be accessible to all. I work with students and launching young adults on a sliding scale rate to prevent cost from being an automatic barrier to seeking support or trying counseling for the first time.

College can look exciting on the outside — but behind the scenes, many students feel overwhelmed, exhausted, and unsure they’re keeping up. You may be juggling classes, pressure to succeed, shifting friendships, family expectations, and big decisions about your future — all while trying to hold it together on the outside. If you feel anxious, overwhelmed, unmotivated, or unsure of yourself, you’re not the only one. I work with students who care about doing well but feel burned out from trying to keep up. Many struggle with anxiety, procrastination, trouble focusing, low confidence, perfectionism, or feeling like they don’t quite fit in. Others feel stuck after a setback, unsure about their direction, or overwhelmed by the independence and responsibility that come with college life. Together, we will focus on understanding what’s driving the stress and building practical tools to help you feel more grounded and in control. We might work on managing anxiety, improving focus and organization, navigating relationships, strengthening confidence, and creating a healthier balance between achievement and well-being. I offer a supportive, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you can be real about what you’re going through and feel understood. My goal is to help you make college feel more manageable and to help you move forward with clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of who you are.

Are you overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling with your identity, or feeling stuck under the weight of the world? You’re not alone. Many of my clients navigate stress, self-doubt, overthinking, and pressures from relationships, work, or school. I am especially passionate about working with members of the queer community and neurodivergent individuals, and I strive to create a space where you can show up fully as yourself—without judgment, pressure, or the need to mask or hide parts of who you are. Whether it's self-esteem, life transitions, relationship challenges, or feeling lost, you don’t have to manage it all on your own. I offer a supportive, affirming space where you can show up as your full, authentic self and explore what’s on your mind without judgment. Together, we’ll explore how your relationships, culture, identity, and life experiences shape your well-being, while working to ease anxiety, build self-esteem, and help you feel more grounded, connected, and empowered. You deserve the kind of support and care that sees you, values you, and meets you where you are. I invite you to reach out if you’re ready to take the next step toward healing and growth. I look forward to connecting with you.

The cycle of perfectionism and food struggles leaves us feeling invisible, anxious, unworthy, and like an outsider in our own lives. Do you find yourself constantly wondering if you measure up? Have passing thoughts that if people knew the real you they wouldn't hire you, be your friend, respect or admire you? Holding yourself to a high standard provides some amazing benefits AND it can really hold you back if it's an all-or-nothing situation. When your worth and value are on the line in every interaction, you live in a constant state of anxiety and have a hard time resting or enjoying your down time. When I was in my twenties, I was anxious and depressed but I never would've used those labels at the time. My life was great on paper – I thought I was happy because I thought should be happy. Then, in the moments when I noticed that I wasn’t feeling great, I beat myself up for not being positive and upbeat or grateful enough for everything I had. I thought that just feeling kinda sad and worried most of the time was normal and inevitable. The truth is, it is pretty normal, but it's not inevitable. In fact, part of what drives me to help people is that the level of unease I felt seems so common. I strongly suspect that there are people suffering needlessly who don't know that there are ways to feel better. One thing to know up front: working with me is weird! My clients who've been to therapy before or seen it on TV are often surprised by a few things about my practice. There's homework, and we'll both be writing things down in sessions. We won't just talk about the things you think and feel, we'll work together to change them for the better.

I am so honored you found yourself here. I believe therapy works best when you feel deeply understood—not analyzed or rushed. Before I’m a therapist, I’m a human who values gentleness, curiosity, and compassion. It’s truly a privilege to sit with folks as they share their stories, their pain, and hopes for something different. I have a special passion for working with neurodivergent (or “neurospicy”) humans and those whose nervous systems have been shaped by trauma. Therapy with me moves at a pace that honors your body, your boundaries, and your unique way of being in the world. There’s no pressure to perform or “fix” yourself. My work is grounded in experiential and somatic approaches, meaning we don’t just talk about what’s happening—we gently explore how your experiences live in your body, emotions, and relationships. This can be especially powerful for healing complex trauma, navigating chronic pain and reconnecting with parts of yourself that may have learned to stay guarded. If you desire to connect with a therapist that cultivates a safe space for you to explore healing without judgement and approaches your experiences with curiosity and empathy I invite you to this space. As a fellow neurodivergent, chronically ill, queer woman - I understand how exhausting life can be. Let us explore what living authentically means for you.

I believe in empowering clients to make the best choices for them. It often feels like we are along for the ride without realizing the opportunities to create change in our lives. I understand that therapy can be a difficult and sometimes uncomfortable process. In session, you are in the driver’s seat, and I am your navigator. Ultimately, you are in control of getting to your destination. Together, we can discover the where and how. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia Southern University. I have assisted young adults transitioning to adulthood in private practice and college counseling settings. I use person-centered, solution-focused, empowerment, and mindfulness-based interventions with clients. I am passionate about working with individuals who want to improve any areas of their life. Increasing self-awareness is often the first step to noticing our patterns. I understand that all clients are unique, which is why I tailor my approach to best suit you. Let's discover your skills and goals together.
