You might feel stuck—questioning your identity, struggling in relationships, or carrying anxiety and self-doubt that won’t quiet down. Maybe you’re moving through a big life change or just tired of feeling like you have to hide parts of yourself to be accepted. My clients often want clarity, relief, and a more honest connection to themselves and others. As a non-binary therapist, I understand how deeply the therapist’s identity can shape the therapy space—and how important it is to feel seen. I also bring a feminist perspective to help make sense of how social and cultural systems impact your lived experience. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in MA, VT, and FL, I support adults facing anxiety, depression, identity conflict, and relationship struggles. My specialty is interpersonal psychotherapy, and I bring a holistic, adaptable approach to each session—offering clarity, insight, and a space where you can better understand yourself and your connections. I offer a safe, affirming space where you can show up fully and honestly. My approach supports you in developing practical, realistic coping tools while deepening your understanding of yourself. Together, we’ll work toward helping you feel more aligned with the person you want to be—grounded, capable, and true to yourself.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a deep passion for working with young adults. I believe the early adult years are some of the most important—and often most misunderstood—seasons of life. Rather than something to simply “get through,” I view this stage as a powerful period of identity formation, growth, and possibility. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. After spending a year living abroad, I went on to receive her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University. Throughout my graduate training and post-master’s clinical work, I have supported youth and families across a range of settings, including in-home therapy, group home care, outpatient clinics, and municipal mental health. I understand that young adulthood can feel overwhelming—whether it’s anxiety, relationships, school, or simply trying to figure things out. Therapy with me is a place to slow things down and make sense of what’s going on. Sessions feel like a real conversation, where clients can explore their experiences, connect patterns, and develop strategies that are actually useful in everyday life. My goal is to create a space where clients feel comfortable, understood, and supported as they navigate this stage.

In our sessions, you’ll find a warm inviting space where I’ll be honest and hold you accountable to your goals. I aim to cultivate a healthy sense of challenge that encourages you to work toward meaningful change. My hope is that you’ll feel grounded and supported as we tackle life’s difficulties together.

Hi, my name is Alicia! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Certified Narrative Therapist. I work with clients to identify the effects that problems are having in their lives. I offer a space for people to feel empowered while exploring their values and working toward their goals. I believe when people have the chance to be seen as a person rather than a problem, they are able to create change in their life in meaningful ways. I support my clients by shifting away from blame and addressing the problem directly. I believe therapy is a collaborative process between client and therapist. I bring curiosity, connection, acceptance, and humor into the therapeutic space. I think all people are unique and valuable—Everyone deserves a safe therapeutic space to be heard and appreciated for who they truly are. Feeling genuinely heard is the first step towards sustainable change.

I work with Students at all leveles and my approach is both flexible and eclectic. I often use Brief Intermittent Therapy. I find that it works best for people to come in for a defined brief period of time (such as 6-8 weeks) and focus on one specific area that needs attention; the time in therapy is more concentrated and effective. When the need arises, I welcome clients back for a "tune up." My clinical work with students and families began in the early 1990’s. Much of my career has centered on helping kids in school settings. I also work with teachers and staff. I have successfully supported clients during times of crisis, transition, and struggle. I can help with anxiety, depression, peers, LGBTQ+ issues, and post-concussion support. I invite you to reach out and see if we would work well together. I am equally comfortable working via teletherapy or in-person therapy. My office is located in Harwich Center on Cape Cod. I'm happy to discuss what works best for you. I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in evidence-based treatment for anxiety, OCD-related concerns, phobias, and sleep difficulties Over the past several years, I have noticed that many college students struggle academically due to undiagnosed ADHD, executive functioning challenges, and attention-related concerns that may go overlooked. In response to this need, I have added comprehensive and affordable ADHD diagnostic testing to my practice to help students better understand their difficulties, access appropriate treatment recommendations, and obtain accommodations when clinically indicated for academic settings and standardized testing. In addition to ADHD testing, I frequently work with students experiencing anxiety, obsessive thinking, perfectionism, panic, OCD symptoms, sleep disruption, and stress related to academic performance and life transitions.

Hi, I’m Bela. College can bring a lot of change, pressure, and uncertainty, but it can also be a meaningful time for self-discovery and exploration. It’s completely understandable to feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck at times. I work with students navigating relationships, identity, family expectations, food and body image, and difficult past experiences. I offer a warm, genuine space where you can be yourself, explore what matters to you, make sense of what you’re going through, and find a way forward that feels aligned with your core Self. If you’re curious about working together, we can start with a no pressure chat to see if we might be a good fit. If you’re outside my insurance plan, I’m also happy to talk about financial flexibility and options. I’m licensed in both Connecticut and Massachusetts. I meet with clients in person at my West Hartford office and offer telehealth throughout both states. For students who live, study, or spend time in both Connecticut and Massachusetts, this allows us to combine in-person and virtual sessions while maintaining continuity of care. Telehealth sessions are available whenever you are physically located in either state.

Are you stuck? Overwhelmed? Unsure of who you are and what you want? My style is compassionate, intuitive and direct. I offer an empowered approach to healing. I empower you to become a conscious co-creator of your life. I use my own life experiences to assist you in shedding shame and getting unstuck. I use tools, education and workshops to empower and enlighten you. I view symptoms as a sign one is out of alignment with their truth, rather than as a symptom to be treated. When we were not mirrored properly as children, we get stuck settling for less than we deserve in our life, work + relationships as adults. Emotional neglect erodes self-trust and lowers self-worth. I help you clear the lens you see yourself through.

I strive to create a strong, collaborative, and secure therapeutic relationship where you feel truly seen and understood. Together, we explore not just the challenges you’re facing, but also your strengths, values, and goals—both in therapy and in life. Many clients come to me ready to examine and unlearn patterns that no longer serve them. They’re seeking to address anxiety and depressed mood, life transitions, and/or interpersonal dynamics. Often their goals are to strive for meaningful change, greater self-awareness, and the skills to navigate life in a way that aligns with who they truly are. I work with them to develop practical strategies that promote resilience, balance, and a sense of empowerment. My approach to therapy is comprehensive, client-centered, and rooted in social justice, relational mindfulness, and purposeful self-reflection. I value collaboration and ensure that assessment, diagnosis, and treatment are tailored to each person’s unique experience. Above all, I am committed to providing a non-judgmental space where compassion, empathy, and support are met with clear, honest, and practical guidance. My passion is equipping clients with tools they can carry long after therapy ends—helping them shift unhelpful thought patterns, manage emotions more effectively, and confidently navigate life’s many demands. The more skills we develop, the more equipped you’ll be to handle future challenges with clarity and confidence.

I worked in multiple college counseling centers and athletic departments around the country prior to heading into private practice. I enjoy working with college students, and have experience treating a wide variety of issues. These include, but are not limited to: Anxiety, depression, stress, adjustment problems, self-esteem difficulties, and family conflict. I also have a special interest and training background in PTSD and trauma-related difficulties. I am EMDR-trained. My style is warm and collaborative, and I use an individualized approach with each client. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to gain support, insight, and tools to guide you on your mental health journey. I am an ideal choice for students who go to school in Massachusetts but permanently reside in New Hampshire (or vice versa). I am licensed in both states, which means that I can meet with you when you are at school and when you are home on breaks. I am an ally and safe space to members of the LGTBQIA community, racial/ethnic minorities, and those impacted by poverty. I am aware of how systemic oppression, systems of privilege, and all forms of prejudice impact human functioning. However, I do not pretend to be an expert in these areas, and I am not personally a member of the above-mentioned communities. I welcome any questions about me or my practice.
