Contending with life's daily pressures can often make it difficult to feel confident in your ability to thrive - and not just barely survive. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, or other concerns, therapy is a safe space where you can engage your existing coping skills and support systems while also discovering and implementing additional strategies and resources. I genuinely believe we have the resilience necessary to make meaningful, lasting changes in our lives. I employ an integrated, systemic approach to therapy and bring humility and cultural sensitivity to every interaction. I have specific experience and interest in working with pregnant and postpartum clients, and I incorporate important concepts such as coping with life transitions, communication, and boundary-setting in my work with every client. I offer supportive, affirming therapy empowering clients to achieve satisfaction in making the changes they seek. I also bring respect and compassion to the therapeutic alliance; my active and empathic listening helps clients feel validated/understood. My goal is to be your ally as we explore your innate strengths and foster your sense of self-affirmation.
Here for you! Are you struggling with school/work, feeling anxious and/or depressed and not sure how to manage these feelings? Do you feel like you aren't measuring up to those around you? Do you constantly worry about what life will hand you next? Or feel like you can't get out of bed and be a successful member of society? Need support dealing with life's challenges or someone to help you set goals and objectives? Life can be challenging and it can be helpful to have someone alongside you instead of facing challenges alone. No two people are the same and therefore therapy should not be either. Therapy doesn’t have to feel like a chore! For over 10 yrs, I have worked with teens, college students and adults, specializing in anxiety, depression and stress management. I have been told that I am relatable and easy to talk with and always impartial. We will work together to explore skills and coping strategies in a positive and supportive environment to help you feel like your best self. Services are private pay and I also offer a super bill for you to submit to your insurance company for Out of Network reimbursement. You owe it to yourself to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation to see if I can be the right fit to help support you along your journey. I look forward to hearing from you! A graduate of Simmons University, licensed in Massachusetts (Massachusetts / 122825 / LICSW) and working in the field for over 10 years.
Trying to hold it together in college can be exhausting. If anxiety is constant, your focus is shot, your mood feels unpredictable, or you’re wondering why everything feels harder than it should — this is where we come in. We take the time to understand what’s going on, explain things in plain language, and create a plan that fits your life — not just your symptoms. You deserve support that feels thoughtful, not rushed.

Hello! I help clients seeking to become “unstuck,” to meet new challenges, and to navigate relationships and emotions. I help individuals with anxiety, relationships, stress management, self-esteem, and decision making. I primarily use techniques based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and I incorporate mindfulness practices if they appeal to the client. I am non-judgmental, warm, and active. I will strive to develop a nuanced understanding and appreciation of your values, needs, and struggles. We will clarify obstacles, evaluate coping strategies, identify personally meaningful goals, and develop skills necessary for a path forward. I have extensive experience with young adults, including those who are in undergraduate, graduate, and early career stages. I understand the unique challenges that this life stage presents and support clients as they navigate their identity, education, careers, and relationships. I also support young adults with time management, organizational skills, goal-setting, and planning. Please reach out for a consultation and to learn about working together.
I’m a therapist in Brookline. I meet with clients in person and online. I enjoy working with adults of all ages and particularly young adults and people early in their careers who are searching for more meaning, fulfillment and balance in life. Regardless of the main issue that brings individuals into therapy, many of my clients struggle with some type of self-defeating narrative, or what I call, an unworkable story about themselves or about some aspect of their lives. I enjoy helping people uncover these unworkable patterns and develop more effective ways of viewing themselves and their lives. Working with me involves exploring what gets in the way of more openness, awareness and engagement with life, and then practicing increasing these ways of being through exercises (such as mindfulness approaches), use of metaphor to shift perspective and other behavioral moves. It’s important to me that I meet every client where he or she is at and work collaboratively toward creating the life you want for yourself. I look forward to connecting with you!

I work pragmatically and collaboratively with clients to achieve their goals. I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Northwestern University in Chicago, IL where I received the Walter Burke Award in Clinical Excellence and a Distinction of Honors on my Ph.D. Comprehensive Qualifying Paper. When you are choosing a therapist, finding the right fit really matters. My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change. I recognize that therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I take an integrative approach that draws from evidence-based practices and is thoughtfully tailored to each client’s unique needs, strengths, goals, and personal style. For more than two decades, I have worked extensively with high school, college, and graduate students in both community mental health and private practice settings. I have also served as an instructor in Boston College's Mental Health Counseling program and a supervisor at the Brookline Community Mental Health Center where I have had the privilege of helping to train future therapists. I obtained both my Master's in Mental Health Counseling and my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at Boston College. I am based in Newton Centre and also provide services virtually. I look forward to meeting you.
