Therapists for college students near 02155
I'm Erica, an experienced psychologist specializing in college-age mental health and sport psychology. I know college is A LOT and I have the utmost admiration for students. You're balancing what feels like a hundred different priorities and sometimes it can feel like it's all just way too much. I am passionate about providing empathic support and tangible tools to help students work through the challenging times that often come with the pressure-filled environment of college. I worked in multiple college counseling centers and athletic departments around the country prior to heading into private practice. I am licensed in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire and offer telehealth appointments so clients can be located anywhere in those two states. I applaud you for taking this step to get support for whatever you are going through and I look forward to connecting with you!

Finding the right therapist is important but it can also be overwhelming. Sometimes we know we need help but not what would be helpful, or what the right approach would be. I encourage you to take a chance and reach out to see if we might be a good fit.
I help adults in all phases of life. I help my clients work through new and past traumas, and through typical or unexpected life transitions. In therapy we can make meaning, find purpose, or forge new paths. Many clients come for help managing symptoms of depression, anxiety, anger, or addictions. If you need help but don't know what questions to ask, that's okay! You don't have to know exactly what's wrong or what you want. Finding out is part of the process! Therapy can be to heal, recover, sort through, reconnect, rejuvenate, strengthen, or change aspects of your life to make it more manageable & meaningful. I primarily work with college-age students as they navigate this transitional time in their lives. I currently have early and late evening appointments as well as Saturdays 10-1.
I’m a licensed therapist (MA, NH, FL) specializing in helping young adults who are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, trauma, school stress, self-esteem challenges or major life transitions. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative space where clients feel safe exploring their feelings and gaining tools to manage them with confidence. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach to help clients understand the patterns that may be affecting their mood, behavior and relationships. Together, we build coping skills, improve communication and make meaningful changes that support emotional well-being. My style is warm, empathetic and engaging. I meet each person where they are, honoring their strengths and fostering resilience. With the right support, individuals can learn to cope, grow and thrive. I'm committed to creating a space where clients feel heard, respected and empowered.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in evidence-based treatment for anxiety, OCD-related concerns, phobias, and sleep difficulties Over the past several years, I have noticed that many college students struggle academically due to undiagnosed ADHD, executive functioning challenges, and attention-related concerns that may go overlooked. In response to this need, I have added comprehensive and affordable ADHD diagnostic testing to my practice to help students better understand their difficulties, access appropriate treatment recommendations, and obtain accommodations when clinically indicated for academic settings and standardized testing. In addition to ADHD testing, I frequently work with students experiencing anxiety, obsessive thinking, perfectionism, panic, OCD symptoms, sleep disruption, and stress related to academic performance and life transitions.
Therapy is an opportunity to build on your strengths, deepen self-understanding, and create positive change. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or the challenges of a major life transition, I provide a supportive environment where healing and growth can take place. I have specialized experience working with LGBTQIA2S+, neurodivergent, consensual non-monogamy, and kink/BDSM communities, offering affirming and culturally responsive care tailored to your unique experiences.

I am a clinical social worker with 12 years of experience working with a variety of mental health difficulties. Many of my clients experience anxiety and depression that stems from traumatic life events or difficult family dynamics. I will help you understand your symptoms and where they are stemming from. Once you understand yourself more, healing can occur. I will help you challenge your negative thoughts and build skills to cope with a stressful world.
I enjoy providing a compassionate, emotionally-attuned space for you to understand how earlier life experiences have influenced your thoughts, feelings and behaviors- whether you are embarking on your own self-discovery journey, navigating a difficult life transition, processing a painful past experience, or managing persistent thoughts and feelings that you are unsure how to change. Drawing from my own experience as a first-generation queer Latinx, I strive to create an accessible, inclusive and validating space in which you can explore your own authenticity and cultivate your own empowerment. I work with you to integrate your physical and cognitive experiences- identifying patterns that stand in the way of the life you desire. In addition, I utilize EMDR, CBT and solution-focused techniques to support your transition from thought to action.

While we may not always have control over all aspects of our lives, we have control over how we choose to react, how we make meaning of our situation, and most importantly how we grow from the challenges presented to us. I work with adults throughout the lifespan, from young adults to older adults, in an individual and group therapy setting. I specialize in working with depression, anxiety, trauma, identity development, life transitions, and navigating relationships. I love working with clients who recognize the need for change in their lives and are motivated to work towards bettering their relationship with themselves and others. I utilize both psychodynamic (how the past influences the present) and interpersonal approaches (how relational patterns impact psychological well-being) to therapy. In addition, I also borrow from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)/Mindfulness to help build healthy coping strategies. I do not believe in a one size fits all therapy, but I do believe in two necessary factors: hope and a strong therapeutic relationship. Hope ignites the courage to take the first step towards change and the therapeutic relationship is the vessel in which the journey towards change takes place.
I work with teens and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationships, trauma, and the many transitions that come with this stage of life. Whether you’re adjusting to college, figuring out who you are, or feeling overwhelmed by what comes next, I offer a supportive, inclusive, and LGBTQIA+ affirming space where you can feel heard, understood, and accepted.
Get back to feeling like yourself. Everyone struggles sometimes—whether it’s with stress, anxiety, depression, relationships, or big life transitions. At Blue Square Counseling, our supportive therapists will work with you to create a plan that fits your needs and goals. We’ll walk alongside you every step of the way so you feel empowered, understood, and ready to move forward.
Therapy is a transformative journey towards growth, self-discovery, and lasting change. Taking the first step towards seeking help can be challenging, but with the right therapist, profound transformation is within reach. I’m a relational therapist who is passionate about creating a comfortable, non-judgmental space where clients can truly be themselves. My approach emphasizes building a strong therapeutic relationship and empowering clients to heal and grow at their own pace. I understand how challenging life’s difficulties can be, and I’m here to support you in every step. Whether you’re navigating life changes, stress, trauma, anxiety, or interpersonal conflict, I’m here to help you develop tangible skills that you can take with you into the difficult moments of life. At its core, therapy is about the people sitting in a room together (or often sitting on computers together), and that safety within the relationship is one of the most important aspects of finding a good fit. I am honored to create that space with you. As a therapist, I start with one basic assumption: you are the expert of your own experience. My hope is to empower people to better understand those experiences or to bring in additional perspectives that might shed more light on aspects of one’s life. Informed by my background in queer theory, feminist theory, and anti-racist ideologies, I work with my clients to identify the external structures of power impacting their lives, then engage with the areas of their lives within their control where they can make changes and achieve their goals. While many forms of therapy take from one another and blend together, I begin with trauma informed relational-focused work and draw heavily on DBT/CBT/mindfulness-based therapy modalities. I view therapeutic relationships as dynamic, and work to tailor the experience to my clients’ needs and preferences. Whether you are someone who likes sessions to feel more conversational, someone who appreciates tangible takeaways like worksheets, or someone who wants to spend time practicing skills in our sessions, we can work together to find a treatment plan that suits you.
At Hive Health, we believe healing is not one‑size‑fits‑all. Whether you’re a medical student carrying the weight of burnout, a young adult navigating life transitions, or a teen exploring your identity, you deserve care that sees the whole you. Like a hive, our well‑being is interconnected. When one part struggles, the whole system feels it. That’s why our approach is trauma‑informed, holistic, and culturally humble, addressing not just symptoms, but the deeper roots of stress, anxiety, depression, and burnout.
