My approach is collaborative, empathic, and interactive, creating an environment in which to help you better understand, relate to, and positively address ways in which you might feel stuck. I have specialized training in treating complex trauma. Though I draw from humanistic, psychodynamic, and DBT modalities, in essence my approach is integrative, person-centered, and strength-based. My training experiences include Harvard-affiliated McLean Hospital and the Trauma Center at Justice Resource Institute. I completed a post doctoral fellowship at the Brookline Center for Community Mental Health. Please feel free to email or call me with questions. I look forward to connecting with you. I am an out of network therapist, I am happy to help you or parent submit to your insurance for partial reimbursement.
I strive to provide a warm, supportive, nonjudgmental atmosphere where clients are free to explore their difficulties as well as reconnect with and harness their strengths. I aim to create a space where growth, healing, and transformation can occur. I do this by using a client-centered approach, listening kindly, and offering constructive feedback to help clients challenge self-defeating beliefs and behaviors. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is my main theoretical orientation. My goal is to help each individual to access their unique strengths and remove any blockages that are preventing them from attaining their highest state of well-being and becoming their whole selves. I have helped clients learn skills to better manage stress, as well as to recover from depression, anxiety and substance use using a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach. Although Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is my main orientation, I understand that each person's needs are unique and I apply other modalities including insight orientated therapy and mindfulness. I provide both short and longer-term therapy depending on your individual needs. I have specialized experience working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, transgender and gender-diverse individuals.
Off-Campus Clinicians is a group of highly trained doctoral-level psychologists who work closely with college and graduate students across Massachusetts (in-person sessions available in Cambridge, Watertown) and NYS (Telehealth only). We love our work, and we love working with students. We believe that real progress starts with an honest, trusting relationship, a space where you can speak openly, think out loud, and feel understood without being judged. Students often tell us they value our reliability and consistency. We show up, we stay engaged, and we bring a lot of experience working with young adults navigating the pressure, uncertainty, and growth that come with this stage of life - academically, emotionally, and relationally. We tend to work especially well with students who are thoughtful about themselves and curious about their own minds, people who want more than quick advice and are motivated to understand both what’s going on beneath the surface and how to take the needed accountability that helps life go in better, more desirable directions. If you’re looking for serious, supportive conversation with someone trained to help you make sense of your experience, please contact us.
My passion is working with people who are beginning to realize they feel exhausted and overwhelmed, and think it may be because of patterns of people-pleasing and perfectionism. They are beginning to realize that their drive to be high-achieving might be fueled by low self-esteem. They are performing well in many aspects of life, but they still don’t feel good enough. I also have a passion for working with adult children of emotionally dysfunctional families, who realize that current relationship stress may stem from the stressful family environment they grew up in.
Welcome! As a therapist, I strive to provide a safe space for clients to feel empowered, valued and respected while they engage in therapeutic exploration and reflection. I approach therapy with a person-centered and strengths-based lens, meaning regardless of age, I meet you where you are at in your therapy journey with compassion, authenticity and humor. I am dedicated to supporting you in your most vulnerable and challenging times while celebrating your inherent resiliency as well.
I believe one of the bravest things you can do is begin to understand your own story. What often brings us to therapy are life events that we did not sign up for or want to face. Unanticipated endings, dealing with uncertainties and fear can bring us to crossroads. These intersections present an opportunity for our hearts to grow and for our lives to align with our true north. My primary work has been in medical settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and community health. I believe that when working with individuals, the human connection is the core of what makes therapy meaningful and effective. If you are dealing with old patterns, a new health diagnosis, or experiencing significant loss or relationship issues, my practice might be a good fit. I welcome you to give me a call to discuss further whether I can be a good fit for your needs.

Her approach also offers skills to manage difficult emotions, increase flexibility and build balanced relationships so clients can move their lives in the direction they want. Hablo espanol et je parle francais. It's natural to feel concern about starting therapy and finding the right therapist. It takes courage to look inside and even more courage to reach out for someone to help you make change. One can only find out whether one can have an authentic, caring connection with any given therapist through trying it out and openly discussing the relationship. I will explicitly make space and seek regular feedback from you about our work together to see how the fit and progress feels for you. I completed all of my clinical training at Harvard Medical School through their programs at VA Boston and Cambridge Health Alliance. I can help you notice what you want to change and identify goals for therapy. I have been described as an empathic, nonjudgmental therapist who brings warmth and respect to the therapy room. I use mindfulness to help you notice your sensations, feelings and thoughts, and accept them while setting intentions to make changes to reach goals you value. I see clients mornings, evenings and weekends and specialize in stress for teens, students and professionals including women's issues. I speak French and Spanish fluently. More personally, I enjoy meditating and spending time in nature — rock-climbing, hiking and cycling. I grew up in Europe in a diverse family and bring a multicultural sensitivity to therapy.
