Training and experience are essential but the therapeutic connection is equally important. One of the best ways to determine if I may be the right fit for you is to read directly from those I’ve worked with. Testimonials available @ https://www.healthgrades.com/providers/holly-silva-xyldnwq Considering the importance of find the right therapist—someone you connect with and who will be available when challenges arise—it’s worth choosing a clinician you can work with not only now, but in the years ahead. Nature, movement, and alternative environments often create deeper emotional openness and personal breakthroughs. ________________________________________ FLEXIBLE FORMATS -In-Person -Virtual (Computer/Mobile) -Phone ________________________________________ SPECIALITIES -Anxiety & Depression -Relationship & Interpersonal Challenges -Career & Academic Stress -Burnout & Life Transitions -Self-Esteem -Trauma, including *Sexual Abuse -The Unique Challenges of Wealth -Group Therapy ________________________________________ UNDERSTANDING THE “WHY” Sustainable change requires understanding the root of our behaviors—why we think, feel, and respond the way we do. That insight is at the core of the work we’ll do together. ________________________________________ HAPPINESS & GOAL ORIENTED GROUPS Available for: -Universities -Families & Friends ________________________________________ A PERSONAL NOTE: MY FORENSIC WORK RELATED TO SEXUAL ABUSE As a survivor of sexual abuse, I became deeply driven to understand why—why someone would inflict such harm. That question led me into forensic psychology, where I spent 10 years treating sexual offenders, individuals widely despised by society. Over time, I realized that preventing future harm required helping offenders understand the origins of their actions. Few psychologists—especially survivors who fully grasp the impact—choose this path. But I knew that without effective treatment, the cycle continues. My mission became clear: NO MORE VICTIMS. ______ Holly A. Silva, Psy.D. Licensed Clinical Psychologist CT | NY | VA 📞 860-222-4211 📧 drhollysilva@gmail.com
What if getting better didn't mean spending years talking about everything that's ever gone wrong? I work with college and grad students to build real, lasting change by providing insight and skills that actually help. With over a decade of clinical work in the US and abroad, I've helped young adults manage anxiety, quiet the perfectionism and imposter syndrome that follow them into every exam and internship, while creating a healthy type of confidence that remains under pressure. My clients describe working with me as supportive, direct, collaborative, and nothing like what they expected therapy to be. We figure out what's driving the pattern. Then we work on changing it. I specialize in: anxiety, burnout and stress, low self-esteem, perfectionism, and people-pleasing. My approach pulls from CBT, ACT, Positive Psychology, and Mindfulness, grounded in a trauma-informed model. You don't have to have it figured out to start. Currently offering Online Therapy throughout Massachusetts, New York, Colorado, Vermont, and Florida. Whether you are in Boston, NYC, or Denver, I am ready when you are.

Life often comes at you from many angles, and sometimes the weight of change, anxiety, or difficult memories can make it hard to feel like yourself. With more than six years of experience as a licensed mental health counselor, my work is built around helping adolescents and adults navigate life's transitions, work through relationship issues, find balance, and reconnect with who they know themselves to be. Specializing in life adjustments that have often been created from feelings of anxiety and even potential traumatic experiences/memories, I understand how deeply personal and layered these experiences can be. Whether you're processing a major shift or working through something that has lingered for years, you deserve care that meets you where you are. My commitment to you goes beyond the session: I am dedicated to consistently evolving and growing with you each step of the way, while also focusing on continuing education to recognize and treat the various personal and life stressors taking place in the world around us. In our work together, the focus is entirely on you, because what you're experiencing, and related symptoms, deserve to be treated. Using evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and psychodynamic therapy, we'll move toward self-healing in a way that feels grounded and sustainable. Support, motivation, and accountability are at the heart of how I practice. You can also expect therapeutic homework from time to time, with real-world opportunities to practice the skills we explore in session. Bringing those tools into your daily life is, I believe, one of the most powerful ways to set the tone and get us back to where we want to be. My path to becoming a therapist, much like life itself, has not always been linear and clear. Growing up in a divorced household, change and adjustment were constants. It was through my own experience in therapy that I discovered something remarkable: healing is genuinely possible, and with the right support, so is transformation. That discovery became the foundation of my practice. What was given to me through that work is exactly what I want to offer you. Change is achievable, on any level, and you don't have to find your way there alone. When I'm not in session, you'll likely find me cheering on a favorite team, getting lost in a psychological thriller, or spending time with family.
I'm here to be a support and safe place as you face a time of many life transitions. I often mix a little bit of humor and gentle accountability into sessions. My clients are often seeking support to navigate relationships, identity, and future goals. My multi-state licensure allows for continuity of care even when students are moving between multiple states. Schedule a free consultation on my website today! http://www.calliazimmerman.com/contact
College can be a time of exploration and fun but also a time full of stress and adjustment. Many people I work with have challenges with family or friends they need to resolve, while others struggle with maintaining structure due to low motivation or mental health barriers. I aim to help people find their inner strengths & resolve whatever issues are hindering their progress in life.
Hi, I'm Bree. I am glad you're here. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist. I specialize in working with LGBTQAI+ young adults. If it feels like a good fit, please reach out for a complimentary consultation.
Oh college, it's "supposed" to be the best days of your life...whoever came up with that needs a serious reality check. I've been through it and have also worked with enough college students, young adults, and adults of all ages to say that for many of us, that statement is completely false. So please know that if you find that these are not the best days (or even if you feel that these are the worst days), you are not alone. There is nothing "wrong" with you and I am here to help. I unfortunately don't have a magic wand to transform your college experience into something you see in the movies, but I provide a combination of medication management and brief supportive therapy (a fancy way of saying I include some therapy during our 30 minute medication follow up appointments) that can help address concerns like depression, anxiety, obsessive thoughts, and mood disorders. I’ll work with you to create a personalized plan that meets your unique needs and helps you achieve your mental health goals. Talking about medication can be daunting. When I prescribe it, my goal isn’t to change who you are, but to help you rediscover what life can be like when your symptoms are managed. While medication won’t solve every issue, it can be a powerful tool alongside therapy and lifestyle changes, enabling you to reclaim your ability to thrive.
