Tina is a counseling psychologist who believes therapy should be supportive, collaborative, and meaningful. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and English secondary education from Thiel College, a master’s degree in general experimental psychology from Bucknell University, and her doctorate in counseling psychology from Carlow University. She completed her doctoral internship at the University of Pittsburgh Counseling Center, where she worked closely with university students, providing therapy, assessments, and crisis support. Tina enjoys working with emerging adults who may be navigating life transitions, questions of identity, or challenges in relationships. She also supports individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, or difficulty managing emotions. Tina is especially drawn to working with clients who are curious about themselves and motivated to grow—whether that means learning practical coping skills, understanding emotional and relational patterns more deeply, or creating greater balance and fulfillment in daily life. Her approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and integrative. Tina blends DBT- and CBT-informed skills with psychodynamic and relational perspectives, tailoring treatment to each individual’s unique needs. She strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood and empowered, honoring clients as the experts in their own lives while working together toward meaningful change. Tina is deeply committed to multicultural competence and values the cultural, social, and systemic factors that shape each person’s experiences and identity. She approaches therapy with curiosity, humility, and respect, allowing this understanding to guide both assessment and treatment.
Looking for support, problem solving, coping skills, or an opportunity to talk through what is not working? My goal is to create a working relationship that feels comfortable and hopeful. It takes courage to share personal information with someone new. Individuals and families are facing a lot of stress and difficulties which makes psychotherapy incredibly important. My work with clients has them feeling respected and involved in their own treatment goals. The clients I serve range in age from teens through adulthood. Young adults/college age are often a large part of my practice as well. Change takes time and the therapy process is based upon trust, comfort and consistency. Progress can occur and is to be expected with shared treatment goals and ongoing communication. Please feel free to reach out to me with questions about the process or for more details about my specialities and approach to care. Let's find out if I am a good match for your needs with an initial call.
Hi there! Struggling with feelings in general? Don’t quite know where to turn? Well I am glad you found my page. I have worked with a diverse group of clients with many different struggles but I specialize in adults, young adults and teens. I like to take a conversational approach to therapy. I don’t want our sessions to feel like an uncomfortable doctor's appointment but rather a comfortable place to explore ideas and ask questions. I want to partner with you in the way you work best whether that be crystals and meditation, memes and social media, or just starting with the basics. I have experience in working on issues involving anxiety, depression, relationship troubles, LGBTQIA struggles, family issues and more. My goal is to give you a supportive and judgment free space where we can talk about finding out what works for you. Shoot me an email or give me a call and we can talk about how I can help you.

I'm Brooke, a licensed drug and alcohol counselor and licensed social worker that specializes in addictions therapy for women in their twenties. I am passionate about helping women recover from alcoholism and helping them to find peace within their lives. Often times, the overuse of substances is a result of underlying trauma, low self esteem and attachment issues and can increase our overall anxiety and negatively impact our relationships.

Relationships can be hard. Communication can be challenging. Feeling anxious, uncertain, directionless, or out-of-control can feel overwhelming and at times debilitating. It is so easy to become stuck in a cycle of frustration or hopelessness which creates thought loops fixated on these feelings. It can feel impossible to see what lies beyond the immediate struggles we can’t seem to work through. While most of us feel the need to address these struggles, so few of us have the time or energy to “fix” these stuck points and successfully move past them. That’s where I step in to help. If interested, please send me an email and we'll schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation to see if we're a good fit.
