Hi, I’m Kiara, I’m the therapist behind Lunar Counseling! I work with teens and adults who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, and trauma. Too many people are stuck in a cycle of distress without truly resolving anything. This leaves many feeling detached, numb, and uncertain about their future. I believe most mental health challenges can be addressed through effective therapy and by developing healthy coping skills. BUT, that can be so hard to do on your own. I have found for many individuals, having a therapist to talk through issues can be a gamechanger for their mental health. So, I use my seven years of therapy experience to guide people just like you as you work through your mental health challenges and regain control of your life. To get started, your next step is to schedule a 15-min phone consultation to see if we are a good fit. You don’t have to let things get worse or stay feeling numb and overwhelmed. I can help guide you as you overcome your challenges and get back to feeling like yourself again.
College is a time of frequent change, new experiences, identity exploration and uncertainty; juggling academic demands with everything else can prove daunting. If you're feeling that something needs to change, therapy can be the key to better psychological wellness. Hi! I'm Em! I previously worked in Seton Hill University's Counseling Center, providing individual therapy to college students for a wide variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, LGBTQIA+ issues, relationship and interpersonal problems, grief, trauma, academic stress, adjustment to college, and identity exploration. My approach is relaxed, conversational, and at times fun! I am non-judgmental, welcoming, and I collaborate with you to create a personalized treatment plan. I blend traditional talk therapy (where we explore your thoughts and feelings to increase insight) and skill building (where we practice techniques to soothe and minimize distress.) You'll find me at Elements Counseling & Wellness Spa in the east end of Pittsburgh. We're a 15-20 minute drive from most of Pittsburgh's universities, but I also offer telehealth sessions. I have weekend and evening availability. Let's connect!

If you have ADHD, you might feel like typical strategies just don’t work. That can be incredibly frustrating leading to more arguments, more stress, and a growing sense of overwhelm or uncertainty about the future. You may have already tried working with other providers and felt like nothing really changed. You’re looking for someone who truly understands ADHD, someone who can offer strategies that actually stick, while also holding you accountable in a supportive way. Managing ADHD is tough, but you don’t have to do it alone. I can help make the process easier. With specialized training from top ADHD clinics, I bring evidence-based strategies to help you better understand ADHD and build practical skills that support your well-being. My approach is goal-oriented and backed by research designed to give you clear, measurable progress over weeks not years. Therapy doesn’t have to be a long-term commitment. From the very beginning, we’ll work together to set clear goals and a plan to reach them. My priority is helping you gain the tools you need to thrive. And if you’re on the fence about starting, schedule a free consultation call to ensure it’s the right fit.
Hello there, Feeling stuck? Feeling stressed out about all the things that are competing for your attention? Wanting to change your relationship with yourself, so you can spread your wings and soar? I'm Stefan (he/him) and I want to be there on your journey. Starting therapy can feel scary, even if you've been in therapy before! To lower that intensity a bit, I want you to give you an idea of how I show up to sessions: - I get to know you - your family, friends, hobbies, shows, loves, fears, passions. - I celebrate and hype you up when you do the hard thing. - I ask questions to get you curious about patterns in your life, and point out when you might not be aware of them. - I offer compassion when your mind creates judgments about yourself. - I welcome and ask for feedback, knowing some things will land and others will not. - I laugh with you and value humor. - I tear up when you feel hurt or uncover a tender spot (while also holding space for you to feel). - I'll tell you I'm proud of you. - I nerd out about mental health, skills, approaches, and explain concepts in a way you'll understand. - I slow down and speed up based on your cues, and I give you choice in how we go about sessions. - I'm always working on our relationship, so there's trust and security when we get to difficult things. - I acknowledge the bigger systems of oppression that affect your life and lives of your loved ones. - I'm active and dynamic in sessions - sometimes asking questions, leading an activity, listening and reflecting, interrupting to highlight something you said, and synthesizing information and summarizing it back to you. All of this "I" is the effort I put into helping you get to "you": what you want, what you care about, your goals, dreams, your emotions, stressors, internal talk, and who you want to become and how you want to show up in life. Six Ten Counseling is a group practice of 19 licensed therapists in Easton, PA — five minutes from Lafayette College and an easy drive from Lehigh, Moravian, and Northampton Community College. We work with college students and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, eating concerns, substance use, grief, relationship stress, and identity exploration, and our practice is LGBTQ+ affirming. We know reaching out is often the hardest part, so we've made starting simple: no referral needed, we respond within one business day, and instead of assigning whoever's next, we listen to what you're working through and match you with a counselor whose training and approach actually fit. If the fit isn't right, we'll transfer you to another counselor in our practice — no awkwardness. Sessions are available in person at our Easton office or by secure telehealth anywhere in Pennsylvania or New Jersey — which means care can continue uninterrupted over winter break, summer, or after graduation for students from either state. We're in-network with Aetna, Capital Blue Cross, Cigna, Geisinger, Highmark, Horizon BCBS, Optum, Anthem, and UnitedHealthcare, including most student and parent plans, and we're happy to verify coverage before a first session. Our counselors hold advanced certifications in EMDR for trauma, perinatal mental health, addiction counseling, and trauma-focused care. Currently accepting new clients.
Hi, I'm Alex. I work with young adults who experience the stress of going through life's transitions. I often find that clients experience perfectionism, shame, and guilt. Growing up, if we missed out on empathy, emotional validation, encouragement, or secure connection, we may be saddled with the belief that we are "not worthy", or "never good enough". We may struggle to accept our authentic self and be true to ourselves when we are going through difficult emotions. To feel confident and connected in relationships we need to keep showing up where we are fully seen and loved, flaws and all. I help clients work towards peace in their lives and oneness with themselves. I encourage clients to honor what once served them while letting go of what no longer serves them in relationships. I also work with individuals effected by cycles of trauma, addiction, and disconnection. I approach therapy from a relational, trauma-informed, and culturally competent perspective. EMDR and art making techniques can be used for radical self expression, to update clients' survival brain "software" and complete neural network integration. Yoga and mindfulness based techniques are used to establish a safe connection with the body. Please connect with me, let's talk briefly to see if we'd be a good fit! I am flexible with scheduling to find a time that accommodates your needs. We can meet in person at the office or online via a HIPAA compliant virtual platform. You are worthy of a safe productive opportunity to process your experiences and be supported in your journey.
I often work with individuals in recovery, teens, college students, young adults, and more. I work with LGBTQIA+ individuals focusing on self-discovery, empowerment, and identity exploration. I also work with individuals struggling with religious trauma or spiritual concerns.
I provide mental health counseling services for individuals who are looking to gain a deeper understanding of themselves as well as work through any mental health concerns they are experiencing. Anxiety is my primary area of focus for my practice. If you are experiencing any kind of inner conflict or struggle with your sexuality or gender identity (concealed or revealed) and any personal values related to your spirituality or faith, I provide support and counseling for you.
Our aim is to create a collaborative, person-centered healing relationship with clients. The dynamic of this co-created space is one where you can explore and find your unique tools, techniques, and strengths to empower your authentic self, as well as your understanding of the world around us. Our intention in all levels of our work is to decolonize the therapeutic space. We are LGBTQIA2S+ affirming and sex-positive. We are dedicated to the continuous engagement--both professionally and personally--that this requires. Most of us identify as queer and/or neurodivergent, and several of us also live with chronic illnesses. We believe that clients have the right to interview their clinicians and choose someone they can ask questions to and get honest answers!
