Hello! I’m a licensed psychologist who seeks to not just help manage symptoms, but to promote wellness. I am experienced in treating a range of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, attachment concerns, caretaker stress, chronic pain, binge eating, identity development, career exploration, and life transitions. Having worked with adult clients from a variety of backgrounds, I aim to incorporate a culturally sensitive lens throughout my practice. In sessions, my approach implements behavioral interventions alongside empowerment, exploration of self, and establishing meaning in life. My style is integrative and flexible. I primarily work from a psychodynamic and existential lens to connect past traumas to current patterns, address underlying needs, and foster hope. Through adding in ACT and DBT behavioral interventions, we can better manage symptoms and move towards goals. This multifaceted approach allows client-driven movement between self-exploration, emotional processing, and challenge.
Welcome, I’m glad you’re here! I am a licensed therapist, certified IFS level 3 trained, and group facilitator with a deep appreciation for the complexity of the human experience. Do you feel stuck in old patterns? Do you long for a life more aligned with your values and authentic self? Through Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy I will support you with anything you may be carrying or working through. You might be carrying a lot of responsibility and yearning for steadier support, and the confidence to follow through on your intentions. Do you struggle to trust yourself and want to feel more grounded and empowered? Perhaps you’ve been wrestling with inner critics and protective parts, feeling drained or burnt out, and you’re longing for more compassion, emotional steadiness, and renewed vitality. Through dynamic approaches of IFS and somatic awareness, I support those with complex trauma, those navigating time at University, those seeking plant medicine preparation and integration, therapists and other space holders, addiction and cycle breaking, leaders and entrepreneurs, expats and nomads, and those navigating the many layers of grief. You don’t have to struggle alone. Finding balance and well being is possible, and you deserve support that meets you exactly where you are. Together we can foster resilience, clarity, and self-trust so you can move through life with more ease. If you feel ready, I invite you to email me for a free 20-minute consultation! I am in network with Kaiser, United Healthcare, and Aetna. I provide receipts for reimbursement for out of network insurance.

I work with those facing life transitions, uncertainty, or longing for more fulfillment in their lives and relationships. I love to help individuals reconnect with their inner wisdom, find their joy and fuel their passions. We do this by addressing body, mind, heart and soul. I am guided by the heartfelt belief that a good therapeutic alliance can improve lives through mindful attention, building skills, and gaining perspective. My clients report feeling more empowered, embodied and connected after our work together. My goal is to help individuals connect with their deep inner resources to lead richer, more satisfying lives. For over a decade I have helped individuals address chronic mental health challenges including addictions and trauma using evidence-based practices. I believe the healing impulse lies within each of us and I work to empower my clients to find balance and healing. I focus on honoring the inherent wisdom of the individual through times of crisis and wellness. I create a safe space and bring a warm, earthy approach to what I do with clients. As an LGBTQ+ ally, I celebrate diversity and welcome individuals of all sexual orientation and gender expression. Trained in family systems approaches, I love working with families to help incorporate & celebrate the wildly varying range of individual expression. Let's talk!
I work best with students who are used to performing under pressure: student-athletes, performers, pre-med and nursing majors, ROTC and military-affiliated students, and anyone else whose schedule doesn't leave much room to fall apart, even when they need to. A lot of my clients are running on adrenaline most of the semester, replaying conversations at 2 am, or have gotten so used to pushing through that they've stopped feeling much of anything. Many have already tried talking to someone before. They can explain exactly what's stressing them out, sometimes perfectly, and it still hasn't changed how they feel or act. That gap between understanding a problem and actually feeling different is where I focus. I don't rely only on talking things through. When conversation alone isn't working, or just isn't your thing, I use other approaches that work with what's actually happening in your body and your reactions, not just the story you tell about it. I also think there's real room for humor here: being able to laugh at a hard moment can loosen its grip in a way taking everything seriously never does. You don't need to have the perfect way to explain what's going on, or even know exactly where to start. I'm licensed in Colorado and California. If any of this sounds like your semester, I'd like to hear from you.
My path to counseling started during nearly a decade working in schools, where I saw how many young people were struggling without enough mental health support. That experience also taught me something I still bring into therapy every day: how to connect with people, earn their trust, and meet them where they are. I'm an LPCC and licensed school counselor with a master's degree in counseling from the University of Northern Colorado. I also hold certifications in anxiety and stress management, trauma, grief, and loss. Outside the office, I'm a dad to two girls and usually happiest spending time outside with my family and friends or getting overly invested in a board game.

Hi, I'm Christine! I primarily work with students in Fort Collins and the Northern Colorado area. I come alongside students who are navigating anxiety, self-doubt, relationships, identity, academic or life transitions, and the everyday pressures of being a young adult. I also support students struggling with self-esteem and body image. You may look like you’re doing fine on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or emotionally exhausted on the inside. You may be questioning yourself, overthinking your decisions, struggling to understand what you’re feeling, or simply wishing you had someone you could talk to openly. In therapy, I offer a supportive space to process what you’re going through, better understand yourself and your patterns, and work toward meaningful change.
You might be a good fit for working with me if you feel like you’re holding a lot inside. Maybe you look like you have it together on the outside, but internally you feel overwhelmed, anxious, or exhausted—especially when it comes to relationships with family, partners, or friends. You might be dealing with stress from school while also trying to navigate breakups, family tension, or long-standing patterns in relationships that you don’t fully understand yet. Maybe you’ve caught yourself thinking, “I should be able to handle this,” but something still feels stuck. If you tend to be someone who cares deeply about others, takes on responsibility, and pushes through—even when it’s hard—you’re not alone. Many students I work with feel this way. They’re not broken or failing; they’re just tired of carrying everything by themselves. If you’re looking for a space where you can slow down, talk honestly, and learn practical ways to cope while also making sense of what you’re going through, we’ll likely work well together. You don’t have to have all the answers—just a willingness to show up as you are.

Hi, my name is Joe - Welcome! I am looking forward to working with you on your path to overcoming obstacles or fears that are holding you back. Whether due to stormy family dynamics, unstable relationships, first-gen, LGBTQ, 'adulting', or having to navigate the never-ending COVID pandemic - life can become unmanageable! In the past five years with the University of Florida, I've had the tremendous joy of helping people (help themselves) through these storms - recent/old trauma, loving-and-conflictual relationships, coming to more peace and power with one's identity, more clarity and success at academics and career aspirations. You can count on me to be authentic and open, to come from a place of tenderness, warmth, and humor. Based in genuine, caring listening I try to offer everything possible to help you achieve lasting change. I'm a licensed psychologist (Hawaii - where I lived for years, Florida and Colorado), and am familiar with key areas of the scientific, empirical work and helps articulate trauma, anxiety and depression - and this points powerfully to what we can do to heal. My scholarly research and clinical experiences led to the completion of a book, “The Bruised Heart”. This book provides both in-depth information on the science of emotional healing and multiple clinical examples of real people (clients) whom I was so fortunate to know. I'm especially a good fit for anyone that may be (or called) “hypersensitive”, anyone who longs for authentic friendship, anyone who feels destabilized, perhaps following a break-up or stemming from chaotic family patterns. I love working with gifted and high IQ individuals, for example, with medical students, post docs, artists, and musicians who are highly intelligent but “underperforming” and simply suffering. And I have a passion for first-gen students, and has worked with many from, for example, Colombia, Brazil and Iran. Additionally, I think I am a strong fit for anyone who passionate about psychospiritual approaches to healing, growth and transformation. There are very realistic, nonabstract, doable ways to integrate forms of meditation into one’s busy life and this can be a gamechanger. Finally, I supervise third-year psychiatry residents and routinely assist clients in exploring medication options.
