Finding a therapist can feel overwhelming. Between the jargon and endless options, it’s easy to feel stuck. I'm here to make the process easier. Many of my clients come to me feeling weighed down by anxiety, self-doubt, or pressure to “get it right.” They often struggle with body image, self-worth, or the persistent sense that they’re not enough. As a trauma-informed therapist, I help clients build confidence, strengthen emotional connections, and feel more aligned in their lives and relationships. Together, we’ll work on breaking old patterns and creating a stronger, more authentic sense of self.

Are you queer and struggling with body image and food? Or just feeling disconnected from your body? Are you looking for a therapist who gets it—who’s been there? I am an eating disorder therapist who is also queer. Believe it to not, the LGBTQ community is hit hardest when it comes to struggling with our relationship with our bodies. Many of us have had eating disorders, and even more of us struggle significantly with body image. As a trained somatic therapist, I hope to support you to have a better relationship with your body, and to understand the language it speaks—including how trauma may have manifested in your nervous system.
You want better relationships with your partner, your family, and most importantly, with yourself. Although you've found success in many areas of life, you're struggling to adjust to a recent life change like a move to a new place, the birth of a child, or the start or end of an important relationship. Therapy asks us to tap into vulnerable parts of ourselves. It requires safety and comfort. My clients are courageous enough to show up as their authentic selves, therefore I value being my authentic self within our therapeutic relationship. I incorporate empirically supported interventions into our time processing concerns, building self-awareness, making meaningful changes, and exploring identities. I specialize working with individuals who desire to dedicate less time and energy to food and body image concerns, and more time to aspects of life truly important to them. I approach disordered eating and body image work from a Health at Every Size (HAES) framework. I want my clients to “taste life” and to experience it in a fulfilling way. I also have ample experience working with anxiety, depression, grief, relational concerns, life transitions, perfectionism, ADD/ADHD, and athletic identity. I value and enjoy working with diverse populations and strive to create a safe space for individuals of all backgrounds, cultures, and identities. While we may not share identities or experiences, it is my mission as your therapist to approach our work with humility and to gain understanding of your authentic self.
I believe healing your relationships with others starts by healing your relationship with yourself. I guide clients through the healing process by providing the tools needed to connect with yourself, your body, and the world around you. Through therapy, I believe it is possible to improve your self-esteem, grow interpersonal relationships, and end negative thought patterns. I am passionate about providing an accessible therapy experience by operating from a trauma-informed and multicultural lens. When working with couples, I emphasize the importance of communication and empathy and honor the uniqueness and nuance of each individual. I utilize empathy, humor, and curiosity to connect with clients on a genuine, human level. I'm enthusiastic about helping others tackle issues including depression, interpersonal issues, eating disorders, negative self-talk, body image, anxiety, addiction, and self-harm through modalities such as ACT, DBT, CBT, Gottman principles and person-centered therapy. The first step of a long journey is always the most challenging. I encourage you to reach out for help and allow me to meet you along your route- to help guide you towards inner-peace and healing. I want to build upon the "traditional" therapy experience- in addition to telehealth and in-office sessions, I also offer connection through movement and nature.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Connecticut College and a Master’s degree from Boston University, and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Colorado. Alongside her graduate training, she completed a clinical fellowship at the University of Colorado School of Psychiatry, specializing in Child Development and Infant Mental Health. Over the years, she has sought out additional training to better support her clients, including EMDR (both basic and advanced trainings), Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Circle of Security Parenting. She is also endorsed in Colorado as an Infant Mental Health Specialist. The Kairos Wellness Collective is committed to delivering quality holistic care for clients experiencing, but not limited to, OCD and Anxiety. The Kairos Wellness Collective believes in treating the whole person --- mind, body, and spirit. OCD and Anxiety Disorders have magnified in our community since our small city has been stressed by the pandemic, the fires, and King Soopers shootings. Each client has their own unique struggles and a distinct road to recovery. Rather than ask our clients to bounce around individual offices for their care, our center aims to bring practitioners together in a holistic space that both honors client confidentiality but also streamlines communication between practitioners by using shared health records software. Client care specialists take baseline assessments of OCD upon intake into the collective, and every two months, our specialists will continue to assess measurable progress in the treatment of OCD and anxiety. Kairos Wellness Collective features diverse modalities including Chinese Medicine, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy and Coaching (KAP & KAC), Yoga Therapy, Play Therapy, Forest Bathing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Family Therapy. While utilizing diverse approaches, all approaches featured at the center are evidence-based treatments for OCD and Anxiety disorders. We specialize in treating the college-age population and look forward to supporting you to your optimal mental health during this pivotal time in your lives!
Our experienced professionals understand trauma and are here to listen as we join you on your healing journey. They won’t be surprised by anything you choose to share but they will sit with you, mourn with you and guide you as you unpack your experiences.
Transitions, even positive ones, often bring up feelings of being out of control. We are more likely to turn on auto pilot and rely on behaviors that don't really promote our own wellbeing. I really enjoy working with folks navigating these stages of life and truly finding peace in riding the waves of life. I have specialized training in disordered eating, anxiety and trauma. I utilize EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral therapy most often in my practice. The most important thing for me is for my client to feel connected and safe exploring their relationship with emotions within the therapeutic relationship. Whether you are totally new to therapy or are just coming back, I meet all my clients wherever they are. You don't need to be ready to make changes to start the process!
As a bilingual licensed clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience in medical and community-based settings, I have supported people coping with chronic medical conditions, depression, anxiety, academic and learning concerns, trauma, and neurodivergence. Having lived, traveled, and worked in a diversity of regions throughout my early adulthood and career, I have built strong relationships with people from all walks of life. These experiences have informed my perspective and values as a professional and a human. Are you looking for shorter term support in addressing a particular relationship or stressor? Perhaps you are feeling stuck in anxiety or low energy and need a gentle nudge to “get moving” on something. Or maybe you view therapy as a more gradual, exploratory process. I view you as the expert on your life experiences and needs, and myself as a non-judgmental adviser and holder of hope on your healing journey. I approach each session with curiosity, realness, and humility. My therapeutic interventions are rooted in cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and attachment theories and I value and support the exploration of intersecting identities and the impact of systemic bias, racism, and privilege on mental, interpersonal, and community wellbeing. Regardless of our focus, I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space as we face life's challenges together, and my hope is that you will leave each session feeling both challenged and nurtured.
