I look forward to helping you achieve your goals, build resilience, and create meaningful change through person-centered, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and other tailored therapeutic approaches. As a former NCAA Division I athlete, I offer a unique perspective in supporting individuals, including athletes navigating both mental health and performance-related challenges. This perspective was built upon my own experience in seeking help for challenges as a college athlete, including anxiety and burnout after an injury, one that deepened my commitment to providing the unconditional, nonjudgmental care everyone deserves. In my practice now, I remain dedicated to bringing warmth, kindness, and understanding to each session, creating a space where you can explore and grow at your own pace. Staying active is important for the mind, body, and soul, whether I’m in or out of the office. When I’m not working, you’ll most often find me out on a run, spending time outdoors, exploring new places, and searching for the perfect cup of coffee.
I work with creatives, academics, professionals, caregivers and helpers who are used to doing it alone — but don’t want to anymore. I specialize in complex grief, trauma and high-functioning depression in thoughtful, driven adults. My work integrates EMDR, somatic and trauma-informed therapy to help experiences settle in the nervous system — not just make sense intellectually. Finding a therapist can feel overwhelming, but with the right one by your side, true healing can begin. As a clinical social worker specializing in individual psychotherapy, my goal is to make that process feel a little less daunting by offering a collaborative, supportive space where you can show up as you are. My work centers on older adolescents and adults navigating mental health challenges such as anxiety and depression, as well as those moving through life transitions, grief, loss, or anticipated loss. As a queer clinician, providing identity-affirming care is also central to my practice, particularly for those exploring sexuality and gender, or who face systemic barriers to self-expression and self-actualization. If you choose to work together and the connection feels right, I'm confident we can do meaningful work. My approach is strengths-based, relational, and grounded in a person-in-environment perspective, which means I consider you within the greater context of your life, your relationships, and the systems that shape your daily experience. All of my work is rooted in a social justice framework, and a deep belief in every person's inherent dignity and worth. Together, we'll explore the events and relationships — both past and present — that inform how you move through the world, building deeper self-understanding and self-compassion along the way. You can expect a warm, accepting, and responsive environment where the therapeutic approach is tailored to your unique needs and preferences. That often means blending meaningful self-reflection with a growing toolkit of practical skills and techniques you can carry with you outside of our sessions. Before becoming a therapist, nearly a decade was spent working as a professional musician, an experience that instilled a deep appreciation for the courage and vulnerability that authentic self-expression requires. Sitting with our emotions, sharing them, and exploring them can feel scary, but it can also be genuinely beautiful, opening doors to connection and self-discovery that might otherwise stay closed. At my core, connecting with people has always been what drives me. That's why authentic curiosity, empathy, and an open mind are things I bring to every interaction. My education, lived experiences, and professional background all converge in service of one goal: creating a space where you can work toward better understanding yourself and expressing who you truly are. Outside of the therapy room, you'll find me singing, traveling, or cooking and baking for the people I love. Shared meals with friends and family are something I treasure deeply, as are deep belly laughs and adventures with my husband and our dog, Bagel.

My name is Michelle Kennedy, and I am a licensed clinical social worker who works with young adults navigating identity, relationships, sexuality, trauma, and major life transitions. I know that college and early adulthood can be exciting, confusing, overwhelming, and deeply transformative all at once. Therapy can be a space where you don’t have to have everything figured out. As a queer woman and part of the LGBTQ+ community, I’m especially passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ individuals who are exploring their identity, questioning their sexuality, coming out, navigating family dynamics, or learning how to live more authentically. Whether you’re confident in who you are or still figuring things out, I strive to create a space that feels affirming, safe, and free of judgment. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I believe healing happens through connection, honesty, and feeling truly seen. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, relationship challenges, grief, stress, self-esteem struggles, and the impact of past trauma, including abuse, neglect, and loss. Many of the people I work with are trying to reconnect with themselves, build healthier relationships, and feel more at home in their own lives. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, heal from painful experiences, and move toward a life that feels grounded, meaningful, and authentic to who you are.
I specialize in working with the LGBTQ+ population, addressing men's health issues, and supporting people struggling with addiction and substance use. I am experienced in working with people facing anxiety, stress, depression, and interpersonal conflict. I use a variety of techniques to help my clients, based on what we agree might be best for them - the most important part of therapy with me is you being an active participant in your own goals, progress, and life.

Hello my name is Nataeah Barron. I am a licensed marriage family therapist, licensed addiction counselor, and a first responder counselor. I have abundant experience working with relationships, life stressors, life transitions, PTSD, trauma, and anxiety/depression.
I am open to working with individuals of all ages, including children. I particularly enjoy helping young adults navigate life transitions, identity development, and relationships. Many of my clients are seeking clarity, stability, and a stronger sense of self as they move through uncertain or demanding periods of life. I specialize in athletes who often come seeking support with performance anxiety, confidence, motivation, or recovering from injury or burnout. Their goals typically go beyond just improving performance—they want to feel mentally strong, consistent, and aligned with their values both on and off the field/court/ice.
I believe in the restorative power of hope. Over the course of my career I have been able to support clients to internalize the belief that they can make change in their lives. From focusing on eliminating inner negative chatter to processing an acute trauma, I strive to create opportunities for the achievement of one's goals. Through partnership, trust and the sharing of knowledge, real movement can occur. There is hope. Licensed as both a mental health and addictions specialist counselor, I work with both individuals and couples. I practice remotely in Colorado and Rhode Island. My practice approach starts with identifying how to begin shifting what isn't providing benefit, with behavioral, cognitive and emotional evolution. This is a strengths-based, collaborative process grounded in trust and respect. I completed my Master of Arts and Master of Education in Psychological Counseling at Teachers College, Columbia University. My deep professional satisfaction is grounded in the experience of growth and recovery that clients obtain through our efforts. I am available for initial phone consultations to discuss your needs and how we might partner in your care.

Life rarely moves in a straight path, and the transitions, pressures, and losses that come with it can leave you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself. As a clinical social worker and therapist, helping people navigate the challenges that arise throughout adulthood is work I find deeply meaningful. Whether you're managing the weight of a major life change, working through strained relationships, struggling with work-life balance, facing caregiver stress, or searching for a renewed sense of purpose, you don't have to navigate it alone. These experiences can stir up anxiety, sadness, frustration, guilt, isolation, or hopelessness, and that's exactly where meaningful support can make a difference. Together, we work to transform those challenges into opportunities for growth and a more fulfilling, joyful life. At the heart of effective therapy is a strong, trusting relationship, and building that with you is my first priority. Empathy, authenticity, and genuine connection are not just values I hold; they are the foundation of how I show up for every person I work with, because you deserve a space where you feel truly heard and respected, and where open, honest dialogue is always welcomed. As we work together, I draw from evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique needs, preferences, and goals. That might look like broadening perspective, building resilience, practicing self-compassion, or challenging the thoughts that keep you feeling small. Whatever your path forward looks like, my aim is to be a supportive partner dedicated to your healing journey as you reclaim your sense of agency, practice self-compassion, and deepen your connection to yourself and others. My path to becoming a therapist began with a feeling of restlessness after a trial run at retirement. Reflecting on my life, I realized there was still more to give, just as so many had given to me along the way. Throughout my own journey, the attentive listening and encouragement of others kept me hopeful during fearful and uncertain times. Phrases like "this too shall pass," "one day at a time," “don’t borrow worry,” and "to thine own self be true" became anchors when doubt and insecurity crept in. Those experiences shaped my deep belief in the power of being truly heard. Before this chapter, I spent my career in management and leadership roles at innovative medical device companies, guiding diverse teams through change and helping develop products that improved patient access and outcomes. That work taught me the enduring importance of empathy, trusted communication, and adaptability. Those same qualities now live at the center of my therapeutic practice. In my free time, you'll most likely find me soaking up the Colorado sun with family and friends, hiking, skiing, traveling, or simply following wherever curiosity leads
