I work with you to not just understand what's going on, but also to develop tools to help. Tools to stop panic attacks, tools to manage depression, tools to get organized and figure out what you want in life. We work together to see what works reliably for you. In addition to talking things through, in session and between sessions sometimes you might be writing, sometimes trying a challenging behavior change, sometimes engaging in mindfulness, and sometimes using visualizations. My aim is for you to feel better, and to know what to do to keep feeling better or help yourself if problems resurface. And I try to work efficiently with you, so you are back to your life (and ending therapy) as soon as makes sense for you. Give me a call to set up an initial (free) conversation, at 303-870-9195.

Do you ever feel like you're constantly translating your neurotype, culture, trauma, or identity for a world that wasn't built for you? You don't have to do that here. I provide neurodivergent-affirming therapy in Denver for children, teens, and adults navigating ADHD, autism, trauma, emotional regulation, sensory overwhelm, LGBTQIA+ identity. My therapy space is low-demand and unmasked. No code-switching. No educating your therapist. I work especially well with people navigating masking, people-pleasing, identity shifts, sensory overwhelm, reproductive stress, or feeling like they're "too much" or "not enough." We move at your pace, with curiosity and compassion. My approach blends somatic, experiential, expressive arts, CBT, and strength-based therapy. We build practical tools for emotional regulation, boundaries, relationships, and self-understanding. I offer in-person therapy in Denver and telehealth throughout Colorado. Reaching out for psychiatric care can be difficult. You may be concerned about being judged, unsure about medication, or discouraged by previous treatment experiences. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I believe care should be built on trust, honesty, respect, and collaboration. My role is to listen without judgment, explain your options clearly, and make sure you have a meaningful voice in treatment. I work with people of all backgrounds, including adolescents, adults, veterans, military-connected individuals, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Many patients come to me because they want to better understand what they’re experiencing and find a treatment plan that feels manageable. These struggles may result in feeling constantly on guard, depressed, hopeless, unmotivated, or unable to concentrate – with symptoms that often affect sleep, relationships, school, work, and day-to-day functioning. Other psychiatric conditions include PTSD, mood disorders, and ADHD. No matter what you’re facing, my aim is to create a therapeutic relationship built on trust, honesty, respect, and collaboration to better help you improve sleep, focus, emotional stability, relationships, motivation, and overall quality of life. My work as a psychiatric clinician centers on evaluations, diagnoses, medication management, supportive therapy, treatment planning, and patient education, all guided by a collaborative, patient-centered approach built on shared decision-making. Rather than simply prescribing a path forward, I take time to listen and explain treatment options clearly, so you understand the potential benefits and risks of each one before deciding together what makes sense. From there, your treatment plan is built around your specific symptoms, goals, preferences, and past response to care. That same collaborative spirit shapes what it feels like to work with me day to day. My style is calm, conversational, and grounded in a supportive, respectful environment where you're never just receiving instructions. Through medication management, supportive therapy, motivational interviewing, and education, I help you better understand what you're experiencing and take an active role in your own treatment. As your goals and experiences evolve, so does your plan, since care here is never meant to be static. My approach to mental health care has been shaped by 25 years of experience as an Army combat medic, critical care nurse, and psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner. These roles gave me firsthand insight into trauma, crisis, resilience, and the effects of high-stress environments on individuals and families. I also hold a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, a Master of Business Administration, and the Healthcare Ethics Consultant-Certified credential. This combination of clinical, leadership, and healthcare ethics training strengthens my commitment to thoughtful, evidence-based treatments that respect each patient's values, autonomy, and individual circumstances. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our four children. Our family is actively involved in Scouting America, which gives us opportunities to serve our community, spend time outdoors, and learn new skills together. I also enjoy fishing, camping, kayaking, gaming, reading, and woodworking.

WELCOME! I'm so glad you're here. Many of the people I work with are adults who’ve carried more than their fair share — the ones who look capable on the outside but feel anxious or disconnected on the inside. They've usually spent years masking ADHD/AuDHD, are deeply sensitive, and/or are trying to heal from complex trauma (CPTSD). If this sounds like you, I want you to know you're not alone, and you don’t have to keep trying to “figure it out” by yourself. I won’t hand you a checklist or tell you to breathe it away - I promise! Therapy with me is about noticing what’s alive for you and finding ways to move through patterns that have kept you stuck. With over 25 years of experience, and decades dedicated to my own recovery, I offer both professional expertise and a deeply lived understanding to our sessions. I’m quirky, a little unconventional, and definitely human. In our work together, we'll go beyond simply talking about your life. I'll help you to shift out of over-thinking and connect with the wisdom of your heart and body. That’s where your strength and self-trust already live, and where the parts of you that know how to heal can be heard. My therapy dog, Leasel, often joins us, offering her calm presence when words aren’t enough. I draw from approaches like EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Somatic Therapy, integrated with Conscious Living principles. This work helps us uncover patterns that have been shaping your experiences and guides you toward change that's meaningful and actually lasts. Why I May Be A Good Fit For You I believe complex trauma shapes how we connect and move through the world—but those patterns can soften when we’re met with compassion and someone who’s been there. I grew up in a family that looked good on the outside but was marked by addiction and narcissism and it taught me how essential it is to be seen for who we truly are. I'm passionate about helping sensitive people know that hope is real, no matter what. I believe healing happens when we can be honest with ourselves and experience real connection. I show up as a real person—warm and down-to-earth. I also believe animals and nature offer healing when words fall short. I care deeply about neurodivergent folks, LGBTQIA+ inclusion, and creating space for anyone who’s ever felt like they're on the outside looking in. I look forward to connecting with you!
Phebe Davis, LPC
I work with young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, grief/loss, life adjustments, academic/career stress, body image, identity/self-esteem, LGBTQIA+ issues, and sleep issues. I am trained through an eclectic array of therapeutic modalities but often work through a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) lens. When working with sleep issues and insomnia, I am trained in CBT-I (CBT for insomnia). I prioritize meeting every client and family where they are in order to formulate an individualized treatment plan that works best for you. I enjoy genuinely connecting with my clients and their families by leaning on client strengths, values, and the authenticity of the therapeutic relationship. I find it beneficial to bring our personalities and humanness into the therapeutic process to facilitate a safe space for my clients. Life can be really messy and I'm honored to join you in that vulnerability. If it sounds like l might be a good fit for you, please reach out for a consultation! I'd be happy to connect with you.
Insight Counseling and Wellness Center
Welcome To Our Group Practice A message from the Founder and Clinical Director: I want you to know how excited I am to meet you. I light up when I think about ways I can support you and be a part of ushering human beings into a new world. I feel hopeful when I see the work of Brene Brown, HeatherAsh Amara, Tara Brach and many others like them who are doing work on a large scale to help us move out of the old paradigm of living from the head- comparison, acquisition, power at all costs, being the smartest person in the room, and fierce independence. We are evolving into heart-centered living- which is practicing empathy, compassion, acceptance, cooperation, openness, interdependence and curiosity. This is how I want to live, do you? I believe it is possible and heart-centered living starts with healing past wounds and freeing up our energy to take responsibility for our lives. I was a kid who had a lot of energy. I loved doing cartwheels in the grass, voraciously reading every single one of the books in the Babysitters Club series and climbing the weeping willow trees that grew near my house. I've always loved exploring, learning, and moving my body. Now, I use that energy to climb rock walls, hike mountains, and enthusiastically lead therapists in our thriving private practice while facilitating a kick-ass women's empowerment program. I get energized when I feel into how much healing we get to do together. I have discovered my gifts of curiosity, intuition, and a natural tendency to care about and hold compassionate space for others. I channel this into my work with individual clients, workshops that I facilitate, and the mentorship and training that I offer to the therapists who work with me at Insight. I want you to feel excitement about your life and journey towards bringing your gifts forth. We can help you discover who you are under the layers of self-protection, survival mode, and numbing the overwhelm. The first steps toward this is saying yes to yourself, beginning your healing, and trusting the process. Our group practice offers so many avenues for growth. We have specialties in EMDR, Internal Family Systems, group work and workshops, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Feminist Therapy, Existential Therapy, and more. Explore our website to see what speaks to you and reach out to our Client Care Coordinator. She can determine who and what will be the best fit for your goals. If you feel a YES rising in you, if you want to live more from your HEART and SOUL- then give us a call and schedule your first appointment or join our next workshop. You are worth it. You matter. Take the leap! With Love, Respect, and Hope, Bethany
Art Therapy Counseling and Consultation, LLC
Hello! Thank you for considerning my practice. I am a licensed professional counselor and board certified art therapist. I have worked in the field of mental health for over 25 years. My focus in every session is to provide the therapeutic space for each person to unravel the things that keep them from living their best life. This is a safe space in which to explore unresolved feelings, consider strengths and challenges, examine internal conflicts, receive support and be heard. The clients I work best with understand that therapy is the process of healing the self from wounds that have effected sense of self and ideas of self. Therapy, as we will see, is a depth process and can employ imagery and art making to further that understanding. I do not do much cognitive behavioural intervention, nor worksheet types of therapy. This is process oriented reflective work.
Satie Dopp
Satie is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Her specialties include trauma, depression, grief and loss, relationships, anxiety, self-esteem, life transitions, and development of self-awareness and self-connection. She takes a whole-person and compassion-rooted approach and often combines relational, body-based, emotion-focused, and mindfulness elements in working with clients. Satie approaches therapy as a collaborative relationship in which the process is tailored specifically to what each person needs over time. She believes that not everyone needs the same things from therapy, so it needs to adjust to each person. Therapy with her is relational and grounded and her therapeutic style is described as collaborative, empathetically challenging, and non-judgmental. Satie strives to make room in therapy for calm, humor, and joy in the process as well. Her ideal clients are individuals who understand that healing often requires change. With that in mind, she works to support clients in identifying and exploring personal response patterns, making meaning, gaining insight into emotions, shifting beliefs about self, and learning to better regulate or cope. Her hope is for individuals to connect with their needs and experience meaningful changes or insights in therapy that help them to feel more empowered, build a strong personal foundation of understanding, and reconnect with parts of themselves or experiences they've felt disconnected from. Whether you're needing a supportive place in your life to process stress and transition or wanting to explore deeper concerns, She will provide a calm, open space for you to do that.

Danna Cooperberg
Something doesn't feel right. Maybe you are experiencing a heaviness that you haven't known before. Perhaps your relationship with your body, your work, or others is consuming your time and energy. Maybe you are grappling with a significant loss that has shaken your sense of the world. No matter what you bring in, you are multifaceted and deserve to explore and process your own experience. Understanding the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that have shaped you can make way for profound and lasting change. Relief often arrives when we find we have learned to interpret the world from this new vantage, as does self-compassion. I believe that mental health is a product of the whole self, extending beyond just mind and body but to the creative, intuitive, and spiritual aspects of our being. Working from a psychodynamic lens, we will explore the present with particular attention paid to how our histories, relationships, and unconscious wishes and fears shape our world. I believe each person carries their own complex and dynamic history. Unearthing that story together through the counseling relationship can heal, transform, and provide the freedom to live a more conscious and fulfilling life. I am so glad you are here. It would be an honor to walk with you on this journey. I would be happy to explore working together.
Rachel Cohen
I’m Rachel, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who is certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). My goal is to create a safe and empowering space for my clients because our teenage and young adult years can be stressful and overwhelming to navigate with all of the different life changes that continue to happen. As we continue to grow as individuals, we are constantly trying to identify and discover who we are and who we want to be. This no longer has to be a process that you work at alone. I specialize in anxiety, depression, life-transitions, trauma, and relationships. I help teenagers, young adults, and adults learn to manage and understand difficult emotions, establish boundaries, and feel confident in their life goals. We will work as a team to learn new and healthy habits, as well as ways to create a life worth living. You deserve to enjoy your life! It can be difficult to take the next step, but when you are ready, please reach out via phone or email, and I would be happy to schedule a consult.
