You’re trying to figure out who you are while navigating school, relationships, family expectations, and the pressure to have your life figured out. Maybe everyone sees you as capable and independent, but underneath it all, you feel overwhelmed, anxious, lonely, or unsure of yourself. Maybe you’re learning how to make decisions for yourself without feeling guilty or worrying about disappointing everyone else. Therapy can be a soft, safe place to slow down, understand yourself, and create a life that feels like your own. My style is warm, collaborative, practical, and relational. Together, we’ll explore the patterns that keep you feeling overwhelmed, help you set boundaries without guilt, and quiet the pressure to have life all figured out. This isn’t about becoming a better version of who everyone expects you to be; it’s about feeling more like yourself. Life doesn't have to be falling apart for you to deserve support. Therapy can be a space to feel seen, slow down, and care for yourself without guilt. Taking care of yourself is productive too. When you're ready to take that step, I'd be honored to help you get started.

I believe therapy is a collaborative process that brings your unique life circumstances and experiences to a safe and warm environment. While growth and change are a life-long process, each challenge can be addressed within a supportive counseling relationship to bring awareness and change. In working from a client-centered perspective, my goal is to work side by side and help you achieve the life you desire. My approach to therapy is largely client-centered wherein I strive to make each client feel comfortable and safe, while simultaneously exploring a cognitive-behavioral model, psychodynamic aspects, trauma-focused, and interpersonal interventions. “Baby steps” + “you gotta feel it to heal it” are two truths that guide my work as a therapist. I believe healing unfolds when we move at a pace that honors your body, your story, and your inner knowing. I show up with care, curiosity, and a liberatory-focused, neurodivergent-affirming lens to support your growth, self-trust, and embodied healing. As a 1.5-generation, neuroqueer, Afro-Latina AuDHDer, I understand the complexities of moving through a world not designed to hold all of who you are. I offer space for PoGM, QT2BIPOC, 2SLGBTGEQIAP+, immigrant, and neurodivergent (Autistic, ADHD, OCD, CPTSD, etc.) adults to explore, reclaim, and come home to themselves.

My pronouns are she/her/hers. I offer both individual therapy and psychological assessment. Assessment can be used to evaluate for concerns like ADHD or autism, screen for learning challenges, track changes in neurological functioning, and more. For assessment, I see clients 5 years and older. For individual therapy, I see clients age 14 and older. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and coping with life changes. I also used to work at universities and know the unique experiences and challenges college students face. For any therapist you work with, one of the most important pieces is connection. I may not be the right therapist for everyone and that is perfectly ok. Find who you mesh with and who works for you, and you will give yourself the best chance of success! I believe that therapy is only part of your journey. When we meet, I want to know not only what is upsetting you but also what your goals and hopes are for the future. My goal is to stand with you as you gain the power to reclaim the parts of your life you want to improve. If you feel a connection with me, therapy can be a place to learn more about yourself, challenge worries, process past and current strife, and more. I can be a witness, guide, support, and collaborator. We will work together to get you through this.

College is a lot. You’re expected to keep up with classes, friendships, relationships, work, family expectations, and decisions about your future—all while somehow figuring out who you are and what you want your life to look like. Sometimes it can feel like everyone else has it figured out while you’re just trying to keep your head above water. I tend to work best with students who may look like they’re holding everything together on the outside but feel anxious, overwhelmed, exhausted, stuck, or unsure of themselves underneath it all. Maybe your mind never seems to shut off. Maybe you’re struggling with motivation or falling behind when you know you’re capable of more. Maybe relationships feel complicated, you have a hard time setting boundaries, or you’re starting to realize that things from your past are showing up in your life now. Or maybe you can’t quite explain what’s going on—you just know you haven’t felt like yourself lately. You don’t need to have the perfect words for what you’re experiencing before coming to therapy. You don’t need to know exactly what you want to work on, either. Sometimes we start with what happened this week. Sometimes we talk about something you’ve been carrying for years. Sometimes we figure it out together as we go. My goal is to create a space where you don’t feel like you have to perform, have the “right” answer, or convince me that what you’re going through is hard enough to matter. I want therapy to feel like a real conversation—one where you can laugh, cry, vent, be frustrated, ask questions, learn about yourself, and still leave with tools you can actually use outside of our sessions. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety and overthinking, depression, trauma, burnout, self-esteem, identity, relationships, family struggles, or simply trying to navigate this very weird transition into adulthood, you don’t have to have everything figured out before you reach out. We can start exactly where you are.
G Denise Hill LCSW MAC
I am a therapist with 17 years of experience. I am licensed in Georgia, Idaho, and South Carolina; I can see clients living in each of those states. I help individuals navigate life’s challenges and transitions. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and that your unique experiences, identity, relationships, and circumstances shape your journey. Together, we can explore barriers affecting your well-being and self-worth while building on your strengths to support growth, healing, and fulfillment. When you’re ready to move forward with your identified intention, I am here to support and empower you. Together, you and I can partner to overcome, impact, or work around barriers and hurdles so that you can have your best life!
Katy Janousek, LLC
I specialize in sex therapy and relationship counseling for LGBTQ+, gender-expansive, kink-involved, and consensually non-monogamous adults. Many of my clients are navigating desire discrepancies, identity transitions, communication challenges, or persistent shame around sexuality and intimacy. You may feel capable and self-aware in most areas of life yet unsettled in your closest relationships. Together, we will connect the dots between present triggers and earlier relational experiences so recurring patterns can be understood and shifted with intention. Therapy with me is relational, direct, and grounded in an intersectional framework. I integrate sex therapy, narrative approaches, and practical communication tools to help clients identify patterns and take active steps toward change. While we address complex and vulnerable topics, humor and honesty create space for authenticity and connection. It makes sense if you feel overwhelmed, discouraged, or unsure where to begin. Therapy can be a place to explore your identity and relationships without carrying the burden of explanation or self-protection. If you’re ready to engage deeply and take an active role in meaningful change, I invite you to connect.
Allia Siler
Thank you for considering me to be part of your journey. My name is Allia (she/her), and for my clients, I provide a safe and healing place to grow. For the past four years, I’ve worked as a therapist and advocate for child and adult survivors of abuse and sexual assault. And through this work, I have honed my skills in helping people through trauma, transitions, self-worth issues, and identity. I work with a wide range of clients and survivors and particularly gravitate towards individuals within the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities and young adults. Each person is different and thus, each treatment plan is individualized to meet that person’s needs. And in working together, I will follow your lead and meet you where you are. I look forward to working together!
