I'm Dr. Chantelle Walker, and I’m so glad you’re considering working with us. I absolutely love what I do and take great pride in creating a space where my clients can show up as their authentic selves. More importantly, I meet them exactly where they are. The therapeutic journey is a profound experience, and I never take it for granted. I laugh with my clients, support them through challenges, and sometimes even share a tear as they reach milestones they once thought were impossible. My goal is to ensure that no one feels alone—I work hard to provide a safe space where self-care and mindfulness can take center stage. I work with adults (18+) facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, life transitions, work stress, coping strategies, ADHD, attachment styles, and relationships.

So many obstacles can hinder a person from experiencing a vibrant, peaceful, and satisfying life. My goal is to provide a safe and compassionate space to process your experiences, cope with distressing emotions, and promote healing in whatever way feels best for you. I’m drawn to working with young adults, women, and individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, recent or past trauma, PTSD, and relationship issues. I approach clients by considering the strengths, values, goals, and experiences of each unique individual. I value a collaborative relationship towards self-exploration, insight, and building skills like mindfulness and self-compassion. My approach involves integrating elements from various therapeutic modalities to suit each client’s goals. It’s not always easy or comfortable to ask for help. My intention is to create a genuine and empowering therapeutic alliance grounded in curiosity, respect, and compassion. I believe that every person is the expert of their own life and provided the appropriate support can achieve the growth and healing they desire for themselves.

It's not always easy to ask for help. You were probably really looking forward to college being the best time of your life, and in many ways it probably is. But in some ways, you're struggling and that can be really tough. It's takes tremendous strength to recognize that and ask for help. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and I am here to listen and help you work through whatever is making life hard right now. I specialize in treating anxiety and depression, and can also help to navigate many of the other challenges of college life, such as social or family relationships, identity, stress, body image, self-confidence, feeling overwhelmed with school or with other aspects of life, college adjustment, future planning, and other related issues. Students appreciate my authentic and relatable approach that I combine with my positive and supportive energy to help empower you to make the changes you need to move forward. Feel free to read over my website and reach out for a consult. I'm here and I can help. SCHEDULE: I have a flexible schedule and will work with you to find session times that accommodate your busy life. LOCATION: I am licensed for telehealth in Florida and Georgia so if you are in college in either state, I can help. I currently offer all my sessions online so no need to drive anywhere, just log in with a link using your phone, tablet or laptop. So you can do your therapy wherever you are comfortable, avoid traffic, and resume life as soon as you log off. If home is in GA or FL, we can continue our therapy during visits home, or if you live in another state, we may be able to continue there too, I'd just need to check local regulations. FINANCIAL: Although I am out of network with insurance, I do offer a sliding scale fee as needed to help make therapy accessible for those at all income levels.

Tiffany P. Brooks
Pre-Licensed Professional
Calhoun, GA

Tiffany specializes in working with adolescents and young adults. She values helping clients with all aspects of their identity (i.e. race, sexuality, career, faith, social support, etc) and, of course, most mental health diagnoses. Her theoretical approach works to intertwine person-centered and cognitive-behavioral therapies, with a feminist and liberation psychology emphasis. She prioritizes connecting with clients relationally to allow room for clients to be the expert on their experience, including their personality, strengths, and value systems. Additionally, with cognitive-behavioral therapy, it is her belief that thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are all interconnected and that by managing to change one, it is likely that the others will follow suit. Her emphasis on feminist and liberation psychology perspectives allows for an exploration of how systemic issues (i.e., mass incarceration or employment laws) are affecting a client’s presenting problems. Tiffany believes in utilizing empowerment to allow for the client to explore the various ways they have power over aspects of their life and the larger community they can change. Because of her background in providing Child-Centered Play therapy, she has found the power in integrating expressive methods (i.e., art or journaling) into her clinical work to go beyond relying upon only traditional talk therapy.

There is a part of me that feels extremely anxious. There is a part of me that gets really sad and down at times. There is a part of part of me that can hardly get out of bed some days. There is a part of me that needs to take care of everyone and everything. There is a part of me that wants to check out and escape from all the responsibilities I have. There is a part of me that thinks about dying and a part of me that wants to live. There is a part of me that …. How many times have we all had these feelings or thoughts that come over us that seem conflicting at times but represent how we are feeling in the moment. Understanding our parts even those that are contradictory, being able to validate and accept our parts, and creating balance and space for our parts mentally can be attained through therapy. Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) is designed to allow us to heal from our pain, hurt, and fears by managing the parts that have been created out of our traumas. We have all experienced trauma in some form, and we all have parts that have been borne from those traumas. Parts that help us manage our daily lives and parts that may tend to disrupt our lives, but all of these parts are valid and serve some self-protective purpose and can be managed once they are understood. I get it. You can’t eat. You can’t sleep. Your heart feels like it is beating out of your chest. You feel alone. You put everyone else first and wonder when it will be your turn. You don’t even like the person in the mirror, so how can you hope to find acceptance from anyone else? Is your main concern your body size or shape? Your sexual orientation? The role others expect of you? You are overwhelmed by feelings you don’t even understand. You wonder if you will be stuck like this forever. You want the thoughts on loop in your head to stop, so you can get some rest. You want to be your authentic self… once you figure out what that means. You crave connection and community – to find where you belong. You seek balance. I can help.

Holistic Approach Sacred Journeys, LLC offers an environment of unconditional positive regard where individuals can safely heal and grow. I approach mental health from a holistic perspective. I am especially interested in the mind/body connection and its implications for natural healing. I often incorporate meditation and mindfulness in order to assist individuals in connecting to their own sources of healing and inner wisdom. I have also found that meditation and mindfulness can be especially helpful for individuals who have struggle with focus and concentration. I enjoy working with the disenfranchised population. I employ an array of expressive therapeutic interventions in order to assist clients in addressing symptoms of anxiety, depression, substance abuse issues, anger management issues, spiritual dysphoria, as well as self-esteem issues. I draw from the theories of Hakomi, a Body-Centered Psychotherapy, as well as Internal Family Systems Therapy.
