I'm a licensed mental health counselor with a passion for empowerment and self-care. I love collaborating with clients and developing a treatment plan that meets their goals and needs. I help clients identify and change patterns, thoughts, and behaviors that are unhealthy for them. I help clients find their way to their own inner wisdom to create change in how they handle difficult situations, be it at work or at home. I work to empower clients to create positive change in their lives. I specialize in anxiety, self-esteem, depression, stress management, and queer issues. I offer a combination of CBT, DBT, Mindfulness training, and other evidenced based techniques to bring awareness to the power and personal responsibility in each of us. I help people who have been made to feel like they're not enough, to find their worth and strength. Together we will explore your personal fears, values, and goals so that you can build the life you want.

Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself or your relationships? You’re not alone. Between chronic stress, systemic inequities, and the emotional labor of simply getting through the day, it can be hard to know where to begin. If you’re here, something in you is ready for change. I’m a Black male therapist in NYC providing trauma-informed online therapy to adults across New York State. I work with individuals who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, racial and cultural identity concerns, relationship challenges, and the emotional impact of discrimination and marginalization. Many of my clients are Black men, people of color, immigrants, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and young adults seeking care that feels affirming, honest, and grounded. My approach is culturally responsive, collaborative, and relational. Together, we explore patterns shaped by past experiences while also building practical tools to support emotional resilience, self-trust, and meaningful change in the present. Therapy with me is a space where you do not need to code-switch, shrink, or perform. You get to show up as you are. If this resonates, I invite you to visit my website to learn more about my work and schedule a free consultation to see if we’re a good fit.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a private practice in midtown Manhattan. When I decided to go back to school for a master’s degree, I chose social work because I felt strongly about its foundational belief that focus should be on both a person and their environment. During graduate school at Fordham University I saw many appealing paths I could continue on after graduation. While both macro and micro levels of practice are extremely important, I felt best suited for work with individuals on a deeper level. I wanted to further my education and went on to complete the four-year postgraduate training program in Adult Psychoanalysis and Comprehensive Psychotherapy from The National Institute for the Psychotherapies. Prior to private practice I worked with a diverse population in various clinics throughout New York City. In addition to private practice I have been guest faculty at the Training Institute for Mental Health and taught a course on Eating Disorders. In March 2020, I completed a post master’s program in Spirituality and Social Work at New York University.

I work with college students navigating life transitions, loss, and the question of who they are and what comes next, often carrying patterns, unspoken expectations, or a sense of self shaped by experiences they didn't choose. As a bilingual, native Spanish-speaking therapist, I understand how nuanced identity can be and how exhausting it is when that isn't fully seen or honored. My specialty is helping young adult clients reclaim a sense of self during stages of life where identity and agency are often overlooked. I believe in a body-first, present-focused approach to treat your symptoms, prioritizing stabilization while trusting that lasting change comes from a deeper understanding of our histories, relationships, internal worlds, and motivations.

My therapeutic style is collaborative, creative, and grounded in both trauma-informed and person-centered care. I believe that therapy works best when clients feel safe, heard, and understood. Building trust and genuine connection is at the core of my approach, and I strive to meet each client with empathy and curiosity rather than judgment. I draw from evidence-based modalities while tailoring treatment to the individual. This means our work together may include strategies from CBT, psychodynamic therapy, DBT, mindfulness, or strengths-based frameworks. I am especially passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ individuals and others navigating identity, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relational stress. I offer an affirming, safe space for people who identify as POC, LGBTQIA+, and neurodivergent to explore their identities and deconstruct their own narrative within the larger lens of society. I treat both individuals, and couples, ranging from ages 18-40+. I bring warmth, creativity, and a sense of humor into the room, because therapy doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time. If you’re ready to feel a little lighter—and a lot less alone—let’s get started.
