Hello! First and foremost, I am so proud of you for reaching out to find support and connect with someone. It’s not always easy to say “hey, I am struggling!” but we all do, and we all deserve a safe space to process life. I am a life long Michigander, avid concert goer, board game enthusiast, and mom of two. I love being a therapist because I love connecting with others and creating a space to allow individuals to be themselves and talk about the heaviness of the day to day without judgement. I am an ally, advocate, and celebrator of all races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and genders. I am not religious but welcome and respect any religions you want to incorporate into your therapy. I offer telehealth sessions for college students- current priority will go to MSU students. If you do not have insurance and finances are the barrier to treatment, please reach out 💚🤍

I specialize in working with people who: I specialize in affirming therapy for women (18+ years of age). Additionally, I specialize neurodiverse-affirming therapy for women who suspect or receive a late Autism diagnosis, ADHD diagnosis, or both (AuADHD, AuDHD). I became a therapist because: Being multiply neurodiverse--AuADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, chronic illness--I understand how it feels to be dismissed by healthcare professionals. There is a need for providers who share these identities and experiences with clients. Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is: I offer therapy that aims to meet you where you are. I believe in the healing power of nature and can additionally offer Nature based therapy. More about me and my practice: You do not have to be a woman, or in the neurodivergent umbrella to work with me. I support clients who have concerns or want to gain insight about how living in Western culture and an individualist society influence mental health and relationships.

I am offering reduced rates to MSU students, I offer short term, long term and crisis counseling to MSU students. I can work with any students that are Michigan residents and I will do all sessions via teletherapy. The first step is always the most difficult. It takes courage to recognize the need for help, make the phone call and attend your first appointment. My initial goal of therapy is to establish trust with my patients. I accept them for who they are without judgement or bias, seek to understand them and move at their pace. I practice with a wide range of psychotherapy modalities and adjust my style and techniques based on your individual need. It is my goal to help you overcome your struggles and flourish. Therapy is not a quick fix, it takes time, effort and determination and I will be there supporting you during your journey. I provide treatment to those struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, eating disorders/obesity, self-esteem struggles, stress, family issues, and spirituality. I help my patients become aware of past patterns of behavior, thought processes and emotions that will have a lasting impact on the changes they make in their lives. These changes can affect many area’s in life including increased confidence, self-esteem, positive interpersonal relationships, and lasting change. The shift from being a teenager to an adult can feel pretty overwhelming. It’s easy to feel like you’re the only one who doesn’t have everything figured out, especially when it seems like everyone else has it all together. You’re probably dealing with a lot—leaving home, becoming more independent, and figuring out how your relationships with family are changing. Feeling stuck or uncertain is normal, but it can also bring on feelings of anxiety, low self-worth, and even depression. And leaving home often opens up the space to finally face things in your family life that might have been too hard to address before. I’m here to support you through these transitions, helping you build confidence and see things in a more hopeful light. We’ll work together to set realistic goals that feel good for you, giving yourself the grace you need while creating a clear plan for what’s next. I’ll guide you to tap into your inner strength, uncover what truly matters to you, and help you access the resources you need. Through various therapeutic techniques, we’ll work on healing, managing emotions, and learning how to communicate your needs in a healthy way.

How many times have those close to you tried to tell you what you should do? Do you feel like no one is really listening to your story? I strive to provide a space to be heard without being forced to conform to someone else's individual biases. You are the expert of your life: you live it. I'm an expert on process, and I want to help you find what change looks like in your life. I love the power of story, and your story is unique and rich. I tend not to subscribe to just one theoretical orientation simply because there is no "one size fits all" method of counseling. Rather, I draw from many different theories to devise a plan that will be the most helpful for you. My goal is to create the safest space possible: the one place where you'll never feel judged or criticized. Also, I am an Army vet, so I have a special place in my heart for vets and their families. I offer a discount for vets and their immediate families.
